Hello I am new to Wicca not new to spirituality. I’ve always been interested in the divine. My grandmother passed away in April on Easter Sunday. My journey started with her. In the hospital. Begging for her life. She was in active death. I begged my mother to put her on hospice at home so I could take care of her. And after 3 long days she left us at 10:00 pm Easter Sunday. I began searching for answers after that. I started gardening and crafting spending time outdoors. And I even changed my profession. I was a hairstylist for almost 6 years and I now work as an aide in an assisted living community. I love being able to help others. I’m now looking to keep my spiritual journey going. Learning about myself and the relationships I have with the people around me and how to maintain a positive outlook on life. My grandmother gave me the greatest gift and it was my purpose. I feel the need to make people feel better. My hope is to eventually be a “death doula” when I can bear to see it again. But being there for someone as they pass I feel like is the greatest gift you can give someone.
