Hello all my fellow witches! I hope everyone is well!
Had something happen last night to myself and my husband in Palm Springs we stopped for gas at a casino gas station really late, Before putting in gas we stopped on one side of the gas station to walk my dog around to potty and stretch her legs and such. One of my tarot cards was blown out of the car kinda caught a good burst of wind did a circle and pretty much was taken away, I didn’t really dwell on it too long because it was cold and windy outside. So we continued on our walk while my husband got in and moved the car to the other side of the gas station building to put air in our tire because it was getting low. So myself and my dog ok we walked over to meet him where the air station is at and we just kinda just hung around the car and were talking and joking around with each other laughing and such nothing really special, when my husband noticed there was a man over at a gas pump just watching us kinda staring intently i thought it was weird but didn’t really pay too much attention to him and put the dog and myself in the car and fate would place us directly on the opposite side of the pump the man that was still staring at us. my husband opened the door and stood up not all the way out of the car yet he had his phone in hand preparing to use his debit card on said phone when the man nodded towards my husband in which my husband returned his nod and said “what’s up man? Can I help
You or something?” The man replied “ I’ve been watching you guys and you guys are acting really suspicious!”, my husband said “huh, suspicious?, well hi my names Mario what is suspicious about my actions? And proceeded to step out of the car the rest of the way to pay on the pump, as he did the man said “you take one more step and you’re going to get pepper sprayed!” “I’m about to spray you in the face with pepper spray your being really suspicious!” He had pepper spray in his out stretched hand ready to spray my husband if he stepped closer to him mind you our pump was the same pump he was on just on the opposite side so any move my husband made the man probably would have sprayed him thankfully he did not he got in his truck and tore out of the gas station! Neither one of us had ever interacted with this person whom just spent the last 30 or so maybe longer minutes watching us from across the gas station lot! How weird this happened? What was suspicious about us walking the dog and putting air in the tire or us laughing and chatting about life thus far lol? Wow I’m glad nothing more happened but we were left feeling rather weird and on alert the rest of our trip home. Oh and the tarot card that had been swept away by the wind well it came back home to me because after that altercation I look out my window just in time for the 10 of pentacles to land right outside my door for me to pick up! That was a weird thing. I would have to guess what the relationship was with the 10 of Pentacles and the situation but it does fit - at least a little.
A short but fun interpretation: The communal security aspect of the card was triggered by the strange reaction of the man and it took a walk-about to clear the air.

Wow, what an interesting story!!!
The 10 of Pentacles represents your legacy, life, home, family…what I see is that the 10 was to “tell” you to stay within your pack (husband) that you 2 will make it together!! Y’all stood up to him (not in an aggressive way at all, just not submissive either, ‘stood your ground’) and did not allow any type of intimidation to alter your “course” (what y’all were doing….your own thing).
The 10 of Pentacles returned as a positive sign, that you passed the “test”, and prosperity and legacy is what lies ahead for y’all as a couple.
That is how I see it.

Yeah, that is very odd. I like @leilani1’s answer. I always think of the 10 of pentacles with legacy as well as family and security, though. So maybe something bad could have happened that would have made you and your family infamous. I think you are VERY lucky that you got out of that situation okay. Somebody was looking out for you.
Wow…there´s really weird and dangerous people out and about! Good think nothing bad happened and you got home safely!
The 10 of Pents being taken by the element air and brought back to you seems to be an absolute magic moment! 
Wind or air represents energies swiftly moving, a clear mind and focus, decision making…so this energy bringing a pentacle card could mean some positive, benevolent energies are surrounding you and your family! I´d put that card on my altar and do some pendulum work or maybe ask spirit guides for a message.
Do you feel that weirdo and the card are connected in some way? Because I would see them as two seperate events - I mean, weird people are everywhere (I do listen to true crime, so excuse me being suspicious about basically everyone) and who knows what was going on in his mind. 
That’s one of the reasons I shared here to see what everyone thought about what had happened, it truly was a weird night! That card was absolutely gone and the fact that it just so happened to fall outside my door right after the altercation with the weirdo totally blew me away! I just had to get on here and share! That being said thank you for responding and you know you learn a lot from true crime stuff! It teaches you what you need to be on alert for in the real world to protect yourself so keep on keeping on! Blessed be

I get the feeling your guardians took the card and it’s energy to guide and protect you all. Finding it again was the dome of protection completing its work and the tool being returned to its box. Was the card still in its original condition? I can imagine damage being the reminder of the challenge averted. If there is damage, consider a good energetic cleanse and reempowering; if not, a gratitude prayer with the card would be great.
That was quite the experience. Would you consider casting a spell of healing and clarity on him? It would take energy you may need elsewhere; but may help heal the world, one attitude at a time. Consider the spell “paying it forward” so future contact with that individual may be less frightening for someone less protected. Just a thought.

The X of Pentacles represents a journey along the path of the earthy and travel so this card being blow out of your car is interesting as you were travelling home. As my fellow coven members have said the X Pentacles also represents a strong family bond and tree both in the present and a protective legacy from your ancestors. Being in your situation you both protected each other and was guided with your reaction even though inside you must have both felt frightened as the man was aggressive and unpredictable but you both held it together. For the card to be returned to you that is very strange indeed. Which way up was the card outside when you found it that might give you further insight.
