This one sounds really good, @SilverBear – thanks for sharing!

I just wanted to mention real quick that Willow Tree Bark contains salicylates and is the aspirin of the natural world. Please be careful if you’re sensitive to aspirin or taking any medications or herbs that would interact. :sparkles: Gotta stay safe, witches!

Willow-containing products should be avoided in patients with known hypersensitivity to aspirin, asthma, impaired thrombocyte function, need for vitamin K antagonistic treatment, diabetes, gout, kidney or liver conditions, peptic ulcer disease, and any other medical condition for which aspirin is contraindicated.

Yup!! Good point Megan! That goes for just about any “magick potion” you take - if you are unsure – DO NOT consume it.

Many herbs – even though natural could have dire consequences if you are taking other medications or are pregnant or nursing. Always…always…stay safe.

Another example is mugwort - When taken in high doses this can cause uterine contractions which can lead to miscarriage.
