About me the growing witch the beginner

Hello everyone I’m Kocarika, I found this website in March and just been on the outside looking in and seeing what was always something that I wanted to do and try. I have been attached to everything that has been going on, I have been involving myself in just about all that I can here including events it has really changed me and my life. Soells8 has made me stronger over the last few months because of me grieving I lost my grandmother in March and I lost my mother in May they both passed right before there birthday. This has been something that I always wanted to try in my life but didn’t know where to start. I am here now and has been apart of our community here for 2 weeks I am so glad that I’m apart of this wonderful group of people. I have been suffering with life ups and downs and I choose not to suffer any longer than I have to. I just want my happiness and peace and also to feel free. I have been learning so much and I can definitely feel the growth my auntie has been into this lifestyle her whole life and she has been guilding me and building me up and she always say go for it follow your heart this is my heart and always have been just didn’t know where to start but I am here now and I am thankful to be here and be apart of this family of circle I am still learning and I know I have so much to learn. I have tried many different spells I know some has made wonders and I just want to put my all into what I want I may have lost a few people close to me no call or text I learned here not to mention everything it’s not for everyone to know people judge you as a bad person when I’m only doing good witch things but I love myself enough to know who is meant to be will be and who is not meant to be will disappear but overall I’m so excited to be apart of this wonderful community and so thankful that I have found this and thank you all for having me.

Your auntie is absolutely correct, but we all appreciate that it’s still a big leap to get started and figure out your path. You’re in the right place! The site here is huge, with lots of information, and I’m glad you’re taking your time and reading, following along and thinking things through.

Hi @kocarika! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

I’m sorry that you lost both your grandmother and mother at nearly the same time. I can’t imagine it. You have my condolences.

I’m glad you have your aunt, and that she’s encouraging you on your path! There are some awesome Courses on the site if you haven’t seen them already. Just a quick tip: wait to buy all the tools until you know what you will use. I think I’ve used my athame once, and I prefer a coffee mug to a fancy goblet.

That way you can save money for the important thing, books! LOL! Just joking; you can spend the money on what’s interesting to you, rather than something that’s going to sit in a box and gather dust.

If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
