Just wanted to share my thrown together in 2 seconds, witchy space. It was thrown together I 2 seconds because pretty much everywhere in my house, is a witchy space. 
But I thought this looked nice for a quick pic to share.
The poppet, I made years ago from scrap fabric and corn husks. I really am so proud of it! It is infact, posted up in a mini wooden coffin.
Also, my favorite septarian druzy free form that I got for my past birthday.

So, actually, I decided to finally put my poppet to good use after all these years. I decided to use it as a home ward/protection/abundance talisman.
To start off I gathered all my supplies, then created a safe space to be able to craft. I added a tiny moss agate heart inside of the talisman poppet. Then I gathered my sparkly glittery gold birthday candle as well as a black birthday candle. Then on my fire proof dish, I made a nice bed of black salt, burdock root, and bee pollen , as well as some red Mojave salvia flowers that I picked from my garden. I consecrated my bday candles with my intuitively crafted oil, and then placed a candle on each side of the plate, and the talisman in the middle.
To be crystal clear, I did not have a premade spell or ritual in front of me to go off of. This was all done intuitively. I honestly didn’t know if I was doing it right or wrong, but I just didn’t worry about none of that, and I let my soul craft it for me. I don’t even know if the herbs I chose,what their correspondences were, except for burdock root and black salt… but the flowers and bee pollen just felt so RIGHT.
Then, I decided, ehh, not ready yet.
I went to my tarot deck and pulled the magician, and my significator card, The queen of wands. They were used as witnesses to my craft… and also because once again, it just felt so right.
I lit both candles and I focused in on what I really wanted the talismans objective tasks to be, and I did that until the candles went out.
When the candles were out, I grabbed the talisman, and I breathed into it.. okay fine …i May have inhaled gods leafy green, then exhaled it into the talisman… don’t judge me. If I were a poppet talisman,that’s what I’d want done to me!
Then I tapped the little heart 3 times, released some more exhales into the poppet, as if I were doing CPR.
After that,I placed the talisman in my garden next to my rose bush, and let the sun charge it and told it exactly what it’s job was and then I tapped it’s heart 3 more times, and gave the poppet a kiss on the heart to seal it.
Chaotic? Maybe. Done on a whim and from the soul? DEFINITELY.
If there are any novice witches reading this, plz take this as a sign that your workings don’t always have to be pre-planned days ahead of time. You don’t even have to know what some correspondences to herbs are.. but if it feels right, and you’re not second guessing yourself,GO FOR THAT SH*T!! DO THAT SPELL! CRAFT THAT WORKING! Only thing holding you back, is the fear of not being perfect or articulate. What most misunderstand , is that intuitively working your crafts, THATS what makes it perfect, and powerful. After I was finished, & circled back around to document my steps, and of course, research the correspondences for somethings, even I was impressed at how articulated it all panned out to be.
So, that’s just a quick example of how my brain works when I zero in on my craft.
