I am wondering if you have an ancestor altar? What does it look like? Can you show it? and do you use joopa money to send to them? Do you need pictures of ancestors?

We have a glass cabinet which my in-laws started (we live in their former house) for my wife’s ancestors. I have never sent them money but I know people who do. Here’s a video on how it’s done:

Thank you I have been watching a lot of them. Unfortunately due to a house fire, I have nothing of my parents or grandparents anymore, not even pictures. How can I do it without pictures? That seems to be a wonderful thing,I see I can do a plant and write it all down. Good! I need to buy a nice small plant, I found the money on Amazon, and its not spendy. I will watch this one, Thank you,

I’m so sorry! I can’t imagine losing such unique family treasures. My mom sometimes talks about throwing away the old family letters, I say never! 
Yes, the money seems like a nice gesture. I still like the idea of leaving offerings that they may enjoy a bit more. The examples in the video were great! If he was a smoker, a cigarette, if she liked to write, pen and paper, etc.

Oh I will put a deck of cards, my mom loved to play BUNCO and was in a club, I will put flowers for my Gram and Gramps, they were gardeners galore, I will put dice for my Dad, he liked to play 4,5,6. As far as the list we have, OH MY. I will give food, and chocolate besides the money offering, I have it almost donem, I will post a pic when I do,

@russell, @roxanne, I made an altar with offerings tonight.
My grandfather passed away (after battling for a long time) so I drew his football team logo (Boca Jrs) along with a prayer in his name.
Food, tobacco and the beer that we always drank. Palo santo as a symbol of my country (Argentina) and white sage which is native to where I live now (Pacific Northwest). I am sharing a beer and you can see I already smoked one of the cigars. I’ll leave it tonight and clean it tomorrow.

Very Awesome, doesn’t it feel good?? Its amazing the connection you can feel! I leave mine up, but I have room for it, I also speak to them when I come into my room.
