Merry meet everyone, as a newbie witch I am getting a little overwhelmed, I am reading books
…listening to audiobooks, researching…but I’m jumping from one topic to another just because that’s how I learn. I have stopped seeing visions when I meditate but actually trying to meditate is not working. So I have started kundalini yoga to help open my chakras. I have been doing my grounding and taking daily walks in nature. I have been journaling and taking notes of my dreams. I have been manifesting and doing affirmations and intentions asking the the universe to help and guide me. I have however started to notice the same numbers a few times, 333, 666, 222, 1111,. I have looked these angel numbers up. Firstly any help and guidance would really be appreciated and secondly please could you point me in the right direction to look up angel numbers as a few websites state different meanings. Sorry to drone on took me 2 days to get me right this
…also I have been doing my lessons on this website which is wonderful x
Hi carrianne, I looked up Angel numbers and found this on
or kikibabemagic.com
Garnet - Sacred Blade Wielder
hope this helps
Hmm. Good to know. Thank you for the head’s up.
Being overwhelmed is not uncommon. If you feel you need to, take a step back and rest. Let the new information settle in your mind so you can remember and work with it a bit better. You are doing fine. Don’t let it scare you.
Visions don’t always happen with meditation. Don’t let the lack thereof convince you that the meditations aren’t working. Be patient, and continue doing what meditations you can. It takes time because meditations work from the inside out.
I find that I need to change up my guided meditations on occasion because some part of me doesn’t hear or want to work with one all the time. After a while, I can go back to it and be fine.
I don’t think Angel Numbers have any solid foundation for their meanings. It’s a system that was created by Doreen Virtue, I believe? The system uses a bit of numerology mixed with a bit of New Age spirituality, but if you want the “true” meanings of the numbers, I would suggest looking for information from Doreen Virtue. It’s worth noting that Doreen Virtue regrets her decision to create Angel Numbers, and she’s now vehemently against anything New Age, Spiritual, or occult.
She wrote a book about them that you can find in most places online.
Thank you garnet this is very interesting x
Thank you, so are they not relevant?
I often wonder about her. I mean if she practiced to the level that she proclaimed then surely she would’ve experienced spirit. It makes me wonder whether it was all a profit machine from the beginning
Thank you for this it can all become overwhelming
They’re relevant if you feel they are! They are one of many different tools people use and find comfort in with their spirituality and faith practices. I’m not here to tell you if they’re relevant or not – only you can do that
I’m not entirely sure. I’ve never done a huge deep dive into Doreen Virtue, but she’s deeply into Christianity and the spirit of Jesus. She may feel that what she was experiencing was Christ rather than something else
I think what I’ve read is how against her previous practice is what strikes me. I’m ex-christian but am not against Christ, spirit is spirit, angels are angels, gods gods etc - to me it just speaks of a lack of depth and perhaps finding comfort in something that’s ordered as opposed to the ever winding road that is spirit. Shame really, because her work is good.
I think I’ll read her latest book, I’m always curious about very strong spiritual teachers who switch paths then deride their previous paths. I think what I liked about Shaman Durek, is he followed many paths, but respected and honoured each one and isn’t against any of them. Plus she’s written a good book on Angels, Angel numbers and Ascended Masters.
Thank you will look into his books
@carrianne I bought and use this book for angel numbers off Amazon. I love this book
Thank you Mystique, I shall look into this. Merry meet x
You are very welcome! I really like this book.
