Angel’s Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients:

1 - deep-dish pie crust, homemade or store-bought
2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potato
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, stir together cooked sweet potatoes, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and salt. Stir lightly.

Add eggs. Beat lightly with a fork just until combined.

Gradually stir in sour cream until combined.

Pour filling into prepared pie crust.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
