Spring has arrived here in the Northern Hemisphere and your moderator team is doing some spring cleaning! 
In addition to our usual efforts to keep the forum tidy and organized, we have one key update to announce: there has been an update to the Forum FAQ/Guidelines in the section about Sharing Content.
This update pertains to sharing personal information on the site. It aims to help protect both the site and its community in regards to internet safety.
Here is the updated section of the guidelines:
The above section has been added to the official guidelines and will go into effect TODAY: March 24, 2025 .
A friendly reminder that while the guidelines are here to help nurture a safe and welcoming safe, posting responsibility ultimately lies with each individual. If you haven’t already read the Site Terms of Service and the Forum Guidelines, please do so! (You may even get a special reward for reading them

Moving Forward 
Going forward, any posts that accidentally share personal content that may be a cause for internet security concerns will be edited by a moderator to remove the identifying information.
We will also keep an eye out for any old posts that contain personal information. You may receive a notification that an old post was edited by a moderator, but if so, no fear! You don’t have to worry and nothing else needs to be done. If anything is needed from you, a moderator will reach out with a friendly message.
