Another random question

What’s up my spiritualist friends?

I have another random question!

Okay so, you know how SOME (not all) practitioners say that “cleanliness is next to godliness”?

In my personal opinion, I do believe that rot & decay is just bad vibes all the way around.

So let me ask, what does it mean if you clean someone’s home, and you go room to room cleaning, and by the time you’re done cleaning the last room, the first room that you started in, is right back to the same conditions as before you started cleaning?. Like I’m not sure what’s happening, but that’s concerning to me. And I don’t want to put nobody’s business out there like that, but I was just wondering, does anyone think theres some malevolence to such a quick … Undoing of my cleaning? I mean… I’m not one to immediately jump to “oh they’re hexed or cursed or someone is out to get them using witchcraft” .. that’s just not me. But if you were in this position, how would you interpret this, and what would you do to remedy it? Any and all opinions and ideas are welcomed. Plz.

I have no answer for you. Sorry. I do think my room is a black hole, everything ends up there. Also, I looked for any spell to make dishwashing and vacuuming easier, but never found one!

I got a paperback of this book, The Magical Household: Spells & Rituals for the Home by Scott Cunningham and David Harrington, but it was a long time ago. 2012. Yeah. If I read it, I don’t remember anything but I remember being excited about it.

But personally, I don’t think it’s something evil; it’s just chaos. Order isn’t really natural and chaos wins most of the time. Sadly.

Going to try to find an extension cord in the chaos of my bedroom! I cleaned it last week. It’s already messy.

Arghhhh! It’s so frustrating! :face_exhaling:

I usually would’ve just searched witch Tok, or Pinterest; but you never know what’s clickbait, what’s not, and what’s actually helpful on those platforms.

I do know on tiktok, I forgot the name of the content creator, but if I come across the content I’m about to speak about, I will be sure to give credit where credit is due- but on witchtok, a creator claimed if you mix 1/3 salt, 1/3 water, & 1/3 rubbing alcohol in a jar and place it in a room where you suspect malevolence, the jarred contents essentially absorb the malevolent energy, and it crystalizes in the jar. I’m not sure if it’s a chemical reaction due to science, or if it’s a real deal.. I guess you could say spirit trap? I’m using that term extremely loosely. Have you ever heard of this or tried it?

No. I’ve never really had any problems with negative spirits or anything. Once in a while I’ll see something out of the corner of my eye, but I’ll quickly do an apartment cleansing, and it’ll go away. Nothing like what you’re talking about, though.

The above might work, but I might use real alcohol rather than rubbing alcohol. It could be part bribe, part banishing. That would make sense to me.

Been there. It’s not easy, but it does happen. Sometimes the buildup during illness causes such a thing for me. I keep cleaning and it does get to the point of staying, eventually. This is one mundane version.

If the mess is more intense in smell, consider using enzymes to help with the cleaning process. It costs more, but it really did get a place back into shape for me when regular cleansing didn’t seem to cut it.

A not so mundane conclusion I found in personal experience was that the house spirits saved up the mess, hiding it from the ill one until help could be found or the illness got better. This has happened so often that I look for it during my illnesses and find comfort that the spirits are helping the best they can. Cleaning up such a mess has helped me many a time to rebuild strength. I am grateful for such assistance, even when I get tired enough to complain.

That said, moving into a new apartment wherein mess seems to ooze from the walls and floors does seem like I’m living in Amityville. The poor apartment took a lot which it shouldn’t have had to. Only by continuing with the work to the best of my ability has the apartment begun to feel cared for and accepted.

As for a place or owner being cursed, I do not deny the possibility. I simply prefer to focus on some future wherein there is a better balance. I also do not deny the possibility of human grossness and refusal or inability to keep it clean in the first place.

Interesting Spirit Trap. I’d like to try this sometime. Thanks for sharing it. I’ll save it in my BOS in case it comes in handy.
