Hey everyone.
I’ve recently been looking into Vedic astrology and just wanted to check and ask what does everyone follow, if you follow astrology at all?
To me, Vedic astrology makes more sense. I’ve been in practice for while but am just now calling myself “Wiccan.” Since I am new to this, I’m curious to know what others think about astrology and whether or not you follow Vedic Astrology or western. Thanks in advance & Bleesed Be 
I have to do some studies in Vedic Astrology- heard of it, but haven’t worked with it at all. I have a very basic understanding of Oriental Astrology, but it does seem to resonate- to a point. Western astrology doesn’t seem to fit me at all, though I am still learning. My moon sign seems to resonate better than my sun sign ever did.
Would you be willing to put together lessons on Vedic Astrology?
I’m endlessly fascinated about astrology. I’ve mostly been using the Western kind, as that’s what most of the books and sites use. I’ve heard very recently from a witch friend that Vedic astrology tells more accurately what you’re on the inside, and about your spiritual journey. I think I need to dive deeper into it to tell.
My Sun sign is Cancer in both systems. In Western astrology my Moon sign is Gemini and my ascendant is Sagittarius, but in Vedic my Moon sign is Taurus and ascendant Scorpio. In Western I have a Cancer stellium, and in Vedic I have a couple more Gemini here and a couple more Scorpio there. I don’t think either system paints a complete picture, I can find things to relate to in both that may or may not appear in the other.
So my advice would be to start with what calls to you. There’s a lot to discover, and some of your unique preferences and callings may only come during your journey of discovery. It can also be a very fun ride if you’re so inclined 
I also resonate with Vedic more than Western. I’m actually pleased with what I’ve learned and it makes much more sense.
As for putting together lessons, I’d love to try! I’ve never done anything like that but I’m due for a project. Do you have any specifics ideas I should touch on?
I relate to this so much! I agree, i def have traits in both systems but i believe Vedic speaks to me more.
Western Astrology has me as Pisces, Virgo, Cancer which I really only felt more connected with the Pisces side.
Vedic Astrology would make me a Leo, Aquarius and Gemini. I was a little surprised to find our about all of this at my age lol but I’m quite pleased.
I am so new at Vedic Astrology that anything you could tell me would be great! History, why it’s different, how to find my place, what it means…
