Found this on Amazon, and I had to share it! Mainly because I can’t paint for the life of me. But I thought this would be a great way to do some really magical candles!

This is super cute and I absolutely love the idea! 
I was a little surprised to see the kit uses acrylic paint. I’ve been taking some art classes and I remember hearing something about acrylics as a no-go for burning. I looked it up, and it seems like acrylic is generally not recommended to burn as it can release harmful fumes.
Burning acrylic paint can release toxic fumes. These fumes, containing compounds like formaldehyde and acrolein, pose health risks if inhaled. It’s crucial to understand these dangers to avoid unnecessary exposure to harmful chemicals.

If anyone is concerned about it, it looks like there are wax-based paints or paints specifically made for candle decoration that are considered safer to burn.
Then again, it might be fine as long as the candle is thick enough that acrylic decorations on the outside don’t get too hot. Kind of the same for dried herbs and crystals and other additives, right? As long as they’re far enough away from the wick, they should be alright.
I’ll stop rambling and have my morning cuppa tea now

Thanks for letting me know! Maybe because it’s pillar candles, and those kinda don’t burn through to the outer walls. Who knows?

I caught up on sleep last night, but I had a weird two-part dream. LOL! And I’m still sleepy. But yeah, my brain went to a really weird place last night. Let’s not go there.
I thought about that too, and asked Alexa, the AI on the Amazon site. It stated that as long as the paint is actually not near the wick and the flame, it’s okay.
