I like a general Narrative format here.
This draw is not a surprise, and it relates very well to the question. After making the decision to head out of town and bring along my mom (99 years old), the stress of making the arrangements has started (Mice). Even a 4-day trip involves some degree of logistics, and this is an added twist.
But, I’m certainly committed to the journey (Ring) and will do what’s needed to make it a pleasant trip. There are some events scheduled (Garden) as well as just visiting my niece, so it will all hopefully go smoothly.
Reflection: I am also aware that this is likely the last “real” trip that my mom will want to handle - she gave up traveling (by car or plane) years ago, so this is a big deal. Extra care and attention is needed to make this a pleasant experience.

I need to remember that there will always be some choices that need to be made, and decisions to reach (Crossroads). They may not always be the right ones at the time, but I can learn from my mistakes (Book), and truths will eventually be revealed to me.
The Sun card is an affirmation that my own energy and positivity will carry me through.
Reflection: I had to study on this draw for a few minutes before it suddenly read just fine for me, and this particular question. Nice!

Question- What “positive” should I be focusing on?
Home will receive good news–took a while to figure this out. There is only ONE thing anyone here at home is waiting to find out (out of 5 adults living here).
Is my Daughter-in-Law’s VISA being approved? We’ve been waiting since the wedding in Sept 2024, but we already had an application in as a fiance since 2020. Thinking it would be faster, son went to India and married her in Sept 2024 and “updated” the application, which pushed it back to the bottom of the pile. Most VISA’s are approved in 18 months, we are way, way, way over that mark. So, I am hoping this is what the cards are referring to.

I had a hint about who deserves my loyalty and who adds to my daily burden… which commitments are important/sacred… and how to let energy flow with intent rather than allowing it to leak away.
This seems to be a minor thing that is important nonetheless. I didn’t have any epiphanies recently but there have been the usual signs and daily awareness that we all have. I’m calling it a nudge to remind me to not be complacent.

There were Clouds in my day which meant indecision and obscurity. While my main protective influences were working (Bear), Mice were constantly nibbling at the edges. The upshot is that some decisions on my path were flawed - so maybe I didn’t take the right path at times. Trusting myself was a bit flawed.
Reflection: The last few days have been a bit tough physically and that caused me a lot of concern. However, I also had some good things (spiritually) that I was able to do. If I was grading myself, I got a C (passing) but could have done things better.

I had a seemingly casual exchange—likely in a social or light‑contact setting—that quietly delivered a message or insight I didn’t fully register at the time. Someone’s words carried more intention, truth, or emotional weight than I realized in the moment.
Reflection: I’m pretty sure this happens more often than I realize. I tend to take people at their face value until I think it over and maybe realize there was a hidden agenda (not always but it happens).

I like the classic mod/subj/mod for this reading.
When I left my home on Friday morning, I had 4 chrysalises in an open butterfly cage that I left out on the deck. I was hoping they’d all wait for me to return before they eclosed, but when I got home yesterday, two had already left and their empty chrysalises were dangling but in good shape, so nothing untoward occurred. But two were still there, so I was able to bring the cage inside and clean it up (and retrieve the empties). This morning, I’ve been gifted by two beautiful Eastern Black Swallowtail butterflies. It had clearly just happened as they were both still clinging to their chrysalises, and they are there in the cage right now, just very quiet, thinking butterfly thoughts.
So - the butterflies have been forefront in my thoughts. My draw today is an excellent reflection of this! The little soul-birds are represented by the Birds card, because now that I’m here to watch over them and release them, it’s a matter of communication. They will let me know when they’re ready to be released. We’ll be figuring it out over the next hour or so.
The Tree card is perfect to represent these two little lives - new energy, life force, and possibilities. The Clover card is luck - both for me showing up in time to oversee half of my little brood, and the gift from fate that they waited!
Reflection: First - I’ve missed my Lenormand buddies and my readings! Wasn’t possible (or prudent) to carry them along for my recent trip. Yay!
I’m very content with the outcome of what I felt as a (though minor) fraught situation. The day is good already.
