Autumn Herbal Tea

Autumn Herbal Tea

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients:

3 parts Cinnamon
2 parts Ginger
1 part Cardamom
1 part Chicory
1 part Pink Peppercorns
1 part Star Anise
1 part Cloves

Directions:

Combine all spices in a clean glass container. You can make as much or as little as you want using the ratio above.

To brew a cup of tea, place 2 teaspoons of tea into a filter or mesh ball and steep in 212° water for 5 minutes.

Notes:

Now, for this herbal tea, you’ll want to use about 2 teaspoons per cup of water. That will give you a strong but not overwhelming cup of tea.

If you’re brewing it to serve iced, which is fabulous, then you’ll want to brew it a bit stronger to account for the ice melting a bit and watering it down. I use about 3 teaspoons at that point.

To brew, you can use a mesh tea ball or filters. This is one blend that will keep you warm and cozy all through fall and winter!
