Baby granny woman

hello! i’m elisabeth, and i’m a baby witch studying hearth craft, and an aspiring granny woman. i was raised running barefoot through the red mud of the southern appalachian mountains. the craft had run through my veins for generations, as i’m a direct descendant of Susannah Martin (hence my username). i’m a christian spiritualist, and find ways to tie the Spirit and the Trinity into my craft. my craft has always brought me closer to the Spirit, and for that i’m grateful. excited to check out all that spells8 has to offer!

thank you all! i’m very much enjoying the spells8 resources so far, i keep my grimoire in a notion page (sooo much easier (and travel friendly!) for me to keep it digital) and i’m having a blast adding the wealth of information to it!

i am sorta shy so it may take me a while to adjust to the forums and become active, but i’ll definitely be lurking. thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone :sparkling_heart:

I was shy starting out but then they dragged me in with tea rituals and now I’ve got a collection of teas and can’t stop talking! But do what you’re comfortable with. We love our lurkers!

Hello :hugs: and welcome home :infinite_roots: @SusannahsDaughter

It’s so nice to meet you, I’m Marsha, an Eclectic Solitary Witch, from Colorado. I was raised in the Rocky Mountains, I climbed the pine trees and was always barefoot! I am a Christian Mystic, and I do hands-on healing. I feel like I have always been a witch, but I don’t know where that comes from… I am not aware of any ancestors who were witches. I did have a couple of aunts who read cards and used other forms of divination.

Everyone is friendly, helpful, and supportive here, you will fit right in! I am painfully shy and I lurked for a few months before I posted. I am so glad you are here and I’m looking forward to getting to know you better. We are here for you, Elisabeth, welcome to the family :people_hugging:

With love  and magick :dizzy: always

No apologies ever necessary, @SusannahsDaughter :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I totally get how rough surgery recovery can be. Though mine wasn’t a back surgery, I’m on week 3 of recovery from a different surgery. I hope your recovery is going smoothly and that your pain level subsides!

thanks so much :mending_heart: recovery has been rough, and i’m at that 2 week backslide. progress and healing isn’t linear and boy does that suck sometimes! luckily i’m managing ok, and once i’m healed i should be loads better than before. it’s just getting through until then that’s hard  i know there’s an energy circle thing but i couldn’t figure out how to add myself and my healing to it- can anyone help?

I absolutely can! I can add your request directly - what would you like it to say?

thanks so much! i’m not sure what the usual format is but i’m wanting energies towards healing properly but also the strength for getting through it mentally and finding a sense of calm among the chaos.

You’ve got it! :hugs: I added you to the current circle!

That’s wonderful! I know the backslide can be tough (especially when it feels like one step forward, two steps back ) but you are making progress in the long run, and are well on your way to healing! Congrats to you- hang in there, you’ve got this! :hugs:
