Banishing/Protection Spells....Help please!

I have a friend whom I believe either has a curse on him or at the very least a bunch of negative energy sent his way. He has given me permission to do a spell on his behalf but I’m having a hard time figuring out what would be the best route to go as I don’t know exactly where its all coming from. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

This one is my favorite, dunno how you’d go about changing it to work for someone else, but I’m sure you could do it.

Hi @alexxis,

Sorry to hear about what your friend is dealing with- he is very lucky to have you helping him out!

Amethyst shared a great banishing spell :+1: I would definitely suggest doing some kind of banishing and/or cleansing to get rid of whatever negativity energy is hanging around. Here is a collection of banishing spells you might consider:

Once you feel that the negativity has been wiped away, I would suggest following up with some protective spells- it might be a simple ritual, a protective spell jar, carrying a crystal with defensive properties, etc. This can help ensure that the negative energy doesn’t return.

There are many great protective spells and items out there- here is a whole bunch in case you’d like some suggestions:

Wishing you and your friend all the best- blessed be! :sparkles:

Thank you both! I was considering the Banishing Grace one so I noww feel like I am on the right path and I love the idea of following up with a protection jar! :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

One more question  If I do a protection jar what do I do with the jar after the spell? Do I hold on to it for a certain amount of time? Bury it? I am thinking of doing the “Good Luck and protection spell jar” but it doesn’t say what to do with the jar after sealing it with the wax of the candles.

Personally, I would put it in the center of the home. That way it can spread good luck and protection all around. But that’s just me.

If it’s a protection jar spell for another person, I would place the jar near that person or near a taglock of them, e.g. a photo, their name, or something similar. If it’s for a place, I would place the jar in a central location of the home, or somewhere it won’t be disturbed.

A jar like this I would put on an altar or a central location in the home

I am agreeing with others here — center of home, taglock even better. I love the little charms that you put on a necklace, ring or bracelet and wear for these types of protections since it seems like something clear and present is happening with your friend - if they carry a purse or Murse … you can put a small bottle in there too - you can even double up with the protections after the cleansing and do multiple things/places. Good luck, blessed be!!! @alexxis

I’m seconding (fourthing? ) what everyone else has said about putting the jar in a meaningful location. Feel free to let it be, working its protective magick, until you feel it’s not working as strongly anymore- which could be anywhere from a few weeks to a few years. At that time, you could respectfully dispose of the contents inside and clean the jar. As a vessel for positive magick, I personally believe spell jars can be reused for future spellwork (especially related spells- such as another protective spell jar) :jar: :sparkles:

Good luck and blessed be!
