I have Raymond Buckland’s “Big Blue”, which is easily read, and understood and gives a good general background.
Scott Cunningham, Wicca; Guide for the Solitary Practitioner (he writes really well, I have 2 of his books)
A Witches Bible by Janet and Stewart Farrar, very ritualistic, it is the Gardnerian tradition, but loaded with information!!!
I started with these 3 and created my own practice.
Everyone who reads this post….I hope these books 
will help.
