Bit of a storm tonight

Okay, so who’s been doing some water invocation spells around Texas? I’d say they are working too well!

This is what @Ostara and I are dealing with tonight. (We are about 35 miles apart). Here’s hoping we don’t lose power.

We could use it, next door to your west. Send it over here.

Hope everyone in Texas and those areas are safe!

Thanks everyone. It actually only lasted about an hour and then moved east (sorry @georgia) . But we got 1.47 inches of rain in that hour and quite a bit of standing water in the back yard today. It was pretty localized though - neighborhoods around us didn’t get any at all.

Oh my! I’m so glad it stopped after an hour and moved on out. I lived in The Woodlands for three years, and I’ve seen scary looking radar like this. It could go from being hot and dry to a maelstrom within an hour, it seemed - and rain, and rain, and rain some more, until there was a pool in the back yard.

Texas has some rough weather - glad you and @Ostara made it through. Stay safe!

Yeah, I don’t want to complain because in another month or so we’ll be too dry.

Seems like we get a pool in the back yard every time it rains.

C’mon everybody! Let’s do the Swim!

It would be nice if the office would let us swim in the complex swimming pool. Can we borrow your back yard, @jayne? With the heat we’ve had these past couple of days, even a mud pit would feel like a spa!

LOL!!! Come on down!

Ah, summer storm season! We’ve been at the beach this week (just got home last night, sigh) and we had some afternoon thundershowers while on the island… however home got slammed over and over again!

That’s a lot of rain to get in such a short amount of time! Thank goodness you and Ostara are safe. Here’s to hoping the weather makes up for its tantrum with some nicer and more mild weather for you this week! :sun_behind_cloud: :sparkles:

I’m late for this party aren’t I? I had to drive through that mess to get to work. They had lost power, but it was back on when I got there. We have a new girl who’s afraid of thunder so I’m glad the storm moved quickly.
