Brightest Blessings

Greetings. I am 56 year old witch living in Pennsylvania. I come from a family of witches but was also encouraged to explore other religions. But I felt that Christianity wasn’t for me and was drawn back into the world I grew up in. My grandfather taught me about gathering wild plants and when the time to gather them and what they were used for. My grandmother taught me reading of cards and reading signs in nature. My mother taught me how to see with things that weren’t there (working with the third eye). But we never called ourselves witches,(I don’t know why), it was just the way we did things.
I am so glad I found this place.

Hello and welcome I’m Tracy from England. Sounds like you embraced the craft naturally, how lovely. :sparkling_heart:

@Shortbred67 welcome to the Forum! Your knowledge is amazing! congratulations! Herbs are a whole world! Taro is another big world! I’m Airram from Greece and I’m glad you’re in our family! welcome!

@Shortbred67 welcome :hugs: I’m an eclectic witch. Still very new and learning! Im also from Pennsylvania! Im from the northeast. What part are you from?

Merry meet!

I’m Kat and am currently located in North Carolina. I found the practice over 20 years ago but lost my way for a while. I found my way home a couple of years ago and shortly thereafter found this amazing group of people!! I am a fairly eclectic Green witch with a deep interest in tarot, runes, herbalism, and moon magic. My deities are Artemis (she’s been with me since the beginning) and Hekate, a recent guide in my life.

To be honest, I generally don’t call myself a witch either. I suppose it’s part of my hangup being raised Catholic that’s still lingering.

We’re glad to have you here. :purple_heart: Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!
