Build-a-spell

Y’all!!

I came up with a new idea!

Idk if it’s really a “new” idea, but it’s new to me.

So, ever since I was granted permission to do a spell for my husband by my husband, my tarot cards told me I should make it a group activity!

What did I do?

I gathered all the things needed to build a hex jar and was like “it’s like build a bear but with witch craft! It’s like a buffet of witch craft ingredients! Pick and choose what YOU want!”

I am pretty impressed.

I also was even able to catch what they call a “cow killer” .. it basically a hornet without wings! It’s muh baybee now! Its apparently apart of protection magick down here, because the exoskeleton is built like a dang tank! It doesn’t bite, but it does sting like a hornet and it’s beautiful!

Heres a picture of what it looks like! I’m just in love!! I fed it a little bit of sugar with a few drops of water, and poked holes in the lid so she can breathe

Okay, I’ve never heard of this bug. Did it have wings at one time and they fell off, or what? Do they actually kill cows? Curious minds want to know!

I love how you call Spell Jars Build A Bear Witchcraft too! That’s true and so original!

Girl it really doesn’t have wings! It’s a female! The males have wings though! And yes it’s really called a cow killer. It doesn’t really kill cows, I don’t believe.. but when it stings it hurts like hell. Rated #1 worst sting in North America! Unfortunately it died though. :sob::face_exhaling:

I’ve been stung by the cow killer before, but in Texas we call it a cow bug (I like cow killer better)! I haven’t thought about those in a while. I remember when I was a little girl I thought it was a magic bug because you could step on it and it wouldn’t hurt it. I left them alone after getting stung!

I think your build a spell jar is an awesome idea!

okok as an apothecary who does spells for other people and teaches other people witchcraft, i’d highly recommend reminding him alot during the spell that he should use his intuition on what to use! it helps to really connect the other person to the spell rather than just being told what to do and what the herbs mean :DDD

I did the spell, but yes, I sure did a spread sheet of what’s what, and how it effects and corresponds with other ingredients and what not. But I did the actual working because I’m not afraid of doing it. However he kind of is because of the kick back.
