Can’t play videos in the app

I’m wondering if this is just a me problem. I am having to use the website because the videos in the app are blurred out and unplayable. I tried signing out, deleting the app, reinstalling etc.

I’ve just tried the app, all working. If you tag in @Francisco let him know what phone you have he’ll be able to help.

@Francisco it’s an iPhone 16 pro running the latest iOS. Restarted phone. Cleared cache. Signed out signed in, deleted app, reinstalled app. Nothing I’ve tried seems to work. Website works fine from my phone. Haven’t had this problem before , videos used to play fine in the app. Would be grateful for any trouble shooting tips. Thanks!

@SoapboxFox just in case, could you try testing it both on Wi-Fi and on your mobile network?

It could also be related to the latest version of iOS and the app not working perfectly together, so that could be important to note. If anyone else using the latest iPhone is able to test playing videos as well, it would be much appreciated.

Also, please test this video: Turquoise Crystal Activation since it’s a more recent upload. We use Vimeo, and while it’s rare, sometimes older videos can have playback issues.

I will test it on my end and see what else might be happening here.

I have an iPhone12 and do not have the recent updates of iOS. The video is blurred and will not play for me either

@Francisco Sure thing. I tried on strictly WiFi and/cellular and also tried the turquoise video. Still all blurred out.

The video is also blurred out for me, I have iphone16 with a recent iOS update but probably not the latest.

I also tried it on an older iPhone I have (like…super old - it doesn’t even support the forum lol) and the videos in the app are also blurred. However, opening it through the browser (Safari) works just fine.

Just pushed an updated, patched version of the app that should fix the video issue for iPhone users :tada:. You can try updating or reinstalling the app directly from the App Store here:
