Candle burning question

What does this mean . The flame goes high then back down , have a little movement . The candle manufacturer isn’t that great I guess so it burned like this . Should I be concerned or what does it mean ?

I don’t know what’s going on but this look beautiful, I’m not even caring about the results because the craft look so good :joy: it looks like rose

I am not a candle expert, but I have had this happen when the manufacturer fails to center the wick or the wick falls during the candle making process. I have made candles in the past, and both of my daughters enjoy making candles as a craft, and this is pretty common when the wick ends up slightly off center. the flame ends up closer to the one side of the candle, and then the air flow changes as the candle melts (due to the wick not being vertical and the wax melting unevenly), and the flame flickers. The jumping flame is usually from the wax melting down the inside of the “tunnel” created as the wick burns and, when the wax level goes up, the flame will “jump” high to get back above the wax and stay lit.

Yes that’s exactly what happened. But it turned out beautiful at the end .

That happens a lot. Sometimes, science and magic come together to give us the things we didn’t even know we were looking for. Maybe you simply needed some extra beauty and love (considering it was a red candle) in your life? Just because there is a scientific answer to the how doesn’t mean there wasn’t a magical reason as to the why. You ended up with that specific candle for one reason or another. I don’t believe in coincidence or accident.

Hi @AngelicVillain. @stephnie gave you some great science. I thought I’d jump in to offer a bit on another level. We have had a lot of good stuff on the subject. Try these on for size:

Maybe others in our group can offer a more personal reading.

PS. The rose shape really is beautiful!

@AngelicVillain to me it looks like it melted into a rose. I would take this as a positive sign. It looks like a beautiful ending to your spell. :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart::people_hugging::people_hugging::people_hugging:
