Our Chakras are portals which run through our bodies, they are our energy channels between the physical and spiritual selves. Think of them as a filter to balance our energy fields. “Chakra is the Sanskrit word for Wheel”, imagine a cosmic wheel of energy spinning and whirling connecting your body to the universe.
Most know there are seven chakras, root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and the crown. The following is what I do to align them. Its also good aroma therapy.
Each chakra has a scent as well as a stone. I place a dab of the oil blend, then place the stone. Only do this when you are aligning one. You will get a sensory overload by doing all at once.
Root Chakra: base of spine, black tourmaline, obsidian, red jasper or smoky quartz.
Mantra: I am here, I am safe, I am grounded.
Oil blend: use a carrier oil of your choice, I use coconut. 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops sandalwood, 5 drops patchouli.
Color: red
Imagine your roots growing out of your spine, going into the ground beneath you. Feel the energy tying you to the earth.
Sacral chakra: your pelvis, carnelian or moonstone.
Mantra: I am comfortable in my body.
Oil blend: 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops lemon, 5 drops patchouli
Color: orange
Visualize in your head an orange light surrounding you, filling you with good feelings.
Solar plexus: above your naval, citrine or tigers eye
Mantra: I am worthy of good things.
Oil blend: 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops lavender, 5 drops lemon
Color: yellow
Visualize a yellow light surrounding you, entering your chakra filling you with powerful energy.
Heart: your heart, rose q1uartz lor emerald green calcite
Mantra: I am open to give and receive love.
Oil blend: 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops rose, 5 drops lavender
Color: green
Visualize a green light surrounding you, filling you up with loving energy.
Throat: center of collar bone, lapis lazuli
Mantra: I communicate well and always understood.
Oil blend: 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops rosemary, a pinch of thyme
Color blue
Visualize a blue light traveling through your throat, while thinking about what it is you really want to say.
Third eye: between your eyebrows, amethyst, obsidian, lapis lazuli
Mantra: I hear and trust my inner voice.
Oil blend: 2 oz carrier oil, 10 drops lavender, 5 drops sandalwood
Color: indigo
Visualize an indigo light beaming from your third eye, guiding you to the questions you seek answers to.
Crown: the top of your head, clear quartz, moonstone, labradorite
Mantra: I am a portal for cosmic energy.
Potion: 2 drops peppermint oil, 2 drops rose. Add this to an amount of unperfumed shampoo that you use to wash your hair.
Color: purple
As you apply the shampoo and wash your hair visualize a purple light spreading from your fingertips , through your head, surrounding you and welcoming you in the cosmic energy.
