Charging crystals under the Full Snow Moon

I subscribe to the Sabbat box from Writual Planner and recently received the Imbolc box. Since I am planning to use the crystals that were included in the box in my Imbolc ritual tomorrow, I took advantage of the extended full moon tonight to place them on the bathroom window sill so they can charge overnight. I also added some other crystals that get used a lot, but haven’t been charged in a while.

The last photo shows them basking in the :crescent_moon: moonlight :crescent_moon:

This is so beautiful!! :purple_heart: I love the little bowls for your crystals…are they made from selenite? Your bottle for the moon water is adorable!!

Vienna is covered by a thick blanket of clouds, so I can only guess where Lady Moon is going to be tonight. It doesn´t inspire me to put out my water and crystals and kinda makes me sad. Especially since I´m putting them on the rooftop - it is safe, don´t worry, but a bit of an effort.

Thank you @katharina - yes the little bowls are selenite. I seem to have quite a few of them now! I love that moonwater bottle too. I think I got it from a store on Etsy.

Hopefully your skies will be clear for the next full moon. Our skies have been clear this week, but I didn’t see the last full moon at all as it was completely overcast here those nights. I suppose we all have to take a turn

Beautiful @Greenbriar! I took a load of laundry out to the shed and didn’t look up at the moon! I’m hopping on 1 foot. I will look up when I go back out!:full_moon:

My daughter captured some good photos of the moon with my phone!

Oh, yes! I do miss my Lady Moon whenever she decides to veil herself.

What kind of phone is that? The photos are stunning! My phone only manages to capture a blurry spot in a lot of nothingness…

Yes BEAUTIFUL. Here is the moon tonight where I am. Absolutely stunning. I, too, charged my crystals tonight!

Wow, @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth what sort of phone does she have? I’ve been able to get photos like that with my camera but not with my phone. This is the best my phone can do.

@Ostara what did you do to your foot?

So lovely - and so serene looking! I love your moon water bottle - I should really try to find something nicer than what I’ve been using, an old pickling jar. It was all I had that would hold enough water to last awhile and it is clear.

I was able to get my bottle outside last night (standing near the snow!) for a good recharging. I’ve been very lucky with clear nights the last two full moons, in the dead of winter!

These are gorgeous! She did a great job (and your phone has a great camera!)

@Greenbriar - My phone shots of the moon look much more like yours! More like a weird sun.

@Ostara - how’s the foot doing? I’m sorry you’re having to hop around like this!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23. I believe that year they had upgraded their camera abilities and now I’m able to take clear shots of the moon. I have no idea what settings have to be chosen to take the picture, but my daughter does. Every full moon she comes running for my phone so she can take moon pictures for me lol.

That is so cool! The nighttime setting on my phone opens the aperture to allow more light in and that is why it blows out and you just get a white blur. But I’m just on a cheap Android phone.

I just need to keep my camera battery charged so its ready when I want to use it!!
