I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, and I only had my cell phone but I took a pic of the full Flower moon after my moon ritual this evening. It looked clearer in real life, the hazy clouds are more noticable on the pic.
Great picture! The Moon always looks so mysterious hidden by clouds like that.
I hope the possums didn’t steal your treasures! We get possums around the apartments, it’s one of the reasons we can’t feed the birds or put any food out anymore. They’d get in the dumpster and forget the way out. Kelsey always had fun trying to get them out. Poor woman!
Do possums steal shinies? I know coons and crows would.
I remember parking at Aunt Betty’s and finding a possum under the bird feeder. My driver that day went in through the garage and warned me not to mess with the white faced critter. I walked over toward it, murmuring softly. It acted like it wanted to roll over, but kept eating. At 6 feet away, I stopped to sit on the stoop. We simply sat together in peace, possom eyes never leaving me, even when it seemed to turn its back on me. I never figured out if the possum was trusting me or getting ready to run. After a few minutes, I was called inside. I murmured gratitude and a farewell. The possum continued eating a while longer.
