Just to chip in, you can be any kind of witch you feel is you. Pagan as @leilani1 explained, heathen is Norse gods only, wicca, celt, voodoo, religious and atheist or you can mix it all up and be eclectic. Play around with the craft and you’ll find what you love, discard what you don’t. Only tip is some practices are closed so if it’s not in your heritage it’s best to get training and guidance from those of that practice, they can then initiate you into it if it’s meant to be.

I’ve been looking into my background and the Gods and Goddesses that fit in that to see if anything calls to me. Eclectic sounds like my path right now until I feel like I feel a calling and if I don’t, that’s okay! I will make sure to check if something is within my heritage first.
@underwaxingmoon Hi, there are numerous types of Witches which overlap and also can be with or without Deities, God, Goddesses. As @leilani1 has explained this beautifully. Eclectic transcends many different types so that is very wise, There are also many divinations and again some can align to different types just go with what you like and don’t worry if you don’t do one it is does not matter as we cannot do everything there is no right or wrong let your inner guidance take you were you need to go

Yes, absolutely! This is the beauty of the craft, that you can create the practice that works for YOU.
I consider myself Wiccan-based because it was popular in the nineties (at least here in Vienna), and at the same time, there weren’t really any alternatives. Over the years, my path evolved, and I discovered that I could blend art and creativity with magical practice. I didn’t even know that was a thing back then, not until I met other art witches on Instagram.
So, just trust that your path is the right one for you, even if you feel like no one else practices the way you do.
