Consecrating and interviewing my new Queer Tarot Deck!

Hello my fellow Tarot addicts! :dizzy:

You probably know that joy when your ordered tarot deck finally arrives in the mailbox, just waiting to be unwrapped! My Queer Tarot arrived, and oh! It’s so beautiful; the vibrant images alone make me happy. The fact that it’s inclusive, featuring people of all skin colors, genders, and body types, simply feels wonderful.

Today I finally had the time and energy (migraine for the last two days) to give it a good cleanse and consecration ritual.

I found this Deck Interview Spread on Pinterest and since it´s short and sweet, I decided to give it a try.

Okay, let me just show off their back…how sweet is this design?? :purple_heart: I´m in love!

I can´t get over how pretty they are!

  1. Describe your energy/essence
Ten of Wands - you´re a work-horse? So am I! We´re going to remind each other to take breaks and rest!
  2. What are you best at uncovering?
Six of Pentacles - raising awareness about fairness, equality, sharing and community. I´m so here for it!
  3. How will you challenge me?
Nine of Wands - pushing me to stick to my projects and finishing them? I can definitely use this!
  4. What are you here to teach me?
Eight of Cups - leaving behind the emotional attachment to situations/people/emotions that are in my past anyway and keep creeping into my mind. I´m ready to learn, please and thank you!

Okay, this picture is just to show off how pretty it is on my altar. It matches my colorful, whimsical sacred space (and soul) perfectly.

Do you have a tarot deck or oracle deck you´re really excited about? Show it off!! :purple_heart:

Sounds like you and the new deck are getting along marvelously! It’s a beauty - I love all the bright colors and inclusive designs. Even through the screen I can tell it has a welcoming and encouraging energy. May your new cards serve you well, Katharina! :flower_playing_cards: :sparkles:

I think the last deck I bought was The Wild Unknown (post about it here). I have come so close to getting a few other decks since then, but each time I somehow end up spending the money on a game instead. There are so many fun indie games to support, and I don’t have to worry about finding room for them on my physical bookshelf! :face_with_hand_over_mouth: But I do feel the craving for new tarot decks and I know how fun it is to get a deck that resonates. So I’m so happy you found such a great match! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
