After starting this journey back in July, I am pleased that i finally took the time and made a spot in my house for my own for my craft. After seeing and participating in challenge entries. I was inspired to create my own space a couple days ago! Nothing is better then waking up and doing your morning meditation. And having a cup of tea. Then having that space alone to do all your work. And finally meditating with the moon before you go to bed. Thank you everyone so far for the knowledge and inspiration so i can be the best witch that i want to be! I also made another altar for the wheel of the year celebrations.
That looks like a wonderful space! Congrats!
That’s such a beautiful space, @wendy I can really tell how much love and personality you put into your space. It’s just for you - and that’s perfect!
I love all of your wall decorations, especially. That corner shelf thing is cool, too! Don’t mind me saving this as inspiration for when we finally move and I can get all my things back out again!
Congrats and let me say what a wonderful sacred space that is! I feel you sister the feeling of having your own little space is… well words can’t do justice to the feeling. I honestly multiply times a day, just stroll through my sacred room look around and walk out lol but I can tell you I feel as if when I am down it is like a lift (similar to a coffee but for my feelings). I hope you can create many wonderful memories on your space and it does you justice
@wendy
It’s amazing! I barely have a corner of a room! Lol. I lie…i have a “craft” room but there’s no doors so it doesn’t feel very private.
I love your room! Enjoy it!
If it makes you feel any better, we don’t have space to dedicate a corner of anywhere to the craft. I have to keep unboxing what I want to use and then boxing it back up. But that’s the cost of the small apartment life – every space and corner has to serve multiple uses.
I suppose it keeps me from hoarding, at least?
Thank you, and no i don’t mind you saving this. I looked over a lot of peoples space and put my spin on it. The corner shelf i am using used to have all my crockpots on it and only cost about 20.00.
Thank you @Amethyst. I knew i wanted a desk and a shelf then the creativity started flowing. And i love having an altar for offerings and then one for my sabbot holidays.
Thank you @TheMuslimWitch. Since i set this up i feel better and lighter in a lot of ways. Its in my living room, but we only use the living room to watch movies together or play the switch together, thank goodness for earbuds. Im thankful my husband and daughter understand me and don’t judge me for doing my craft. My 3 nieces and my daughter have all made a spell jar with my help so far.
Thank you @Sivonnah. Have you ever thought of putting a beautiful beaded curtain up? I put one up for my niece the other day and it felt like we went to anther place!
I wish I could have a separate room, but unless I win the lottery that’s not going to happen!
Congrats on your very own sacred space, Wendy- it’s beautiful! And most importantly, it’s all yours- to craft, work magick, meditate, drink tea, and more. Enjoy!
This is nice.
I do have a screen. Which is nice. It’s just off the kitchen so it’s never quiet! Lol. Usually I’ll do spells in the bathroom lol
we have a very small house and I hoard
