Crisp Banana Waffles 🍌

Crisp Banana Waffles :banana:

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
1 cup mashed banana
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.

In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and milk. While stirring, slowly add the flour mixture. Mix until just blended.

Fold the mashed banana and melted butter into the batter.

In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the batter.

Heat the waffle maker as directed by the manufacturer. Add the waffle batter and cook as directed by the manufacturer. Remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the crisp banana waffles warm with any desired toppings.

Yeppers! Sort of different. LOL! Imagine it with candied walnuts on top!

Probably over the refrigerator. That’s where all my stuff goes to get lost. LOL!
