Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Slow Cooker (on high – see notes) 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours 5 minutes
Serving Size 4
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds chicken breast, boneless, skinless
¼ cup sour cream
1 10.75-ounce can of cream of chicken soup
6 ounces stuffing mix, dry chicken-flavored
1 cup chicken stock
¼ cup butter unsalted, melted
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the Crock Pot.
Combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken stock, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl and stir to combine. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Combine the dry stuffing with melted butter in a separate bowl. Spread the mixture on top of the cream sauce.
Cook the chicken for 3-4 hours on high (*see notes). Serve and enjoy.
Notes:
Slow Cooker Times:
I recommend cooking the chicken on the low heat setting in your slow cooker. Cooking them low and slow makes them more flavorful and tender.
ON LOW: 6 to 8 hours
ON HIGH: 3 to 4 hours
Food Safety:
Always make sure that the chicken is fully cooked and has reached an internal temperature of at least 165º degrees Fahrenheit.
Add Vegetables:
Enhance the nutritional value of this one-pot meal by adding chopped vegetables such as carrots, celery, or peas to the crockpot along with the other ingredients.
Serve With Fresh Herbs:
Garnish the finished casserole with fresh parsley or thyme to add a pop of color and freshness to the dish.

I am making this for my dad and Aunt on Monday! I got everything today!
I didn’t know what or where the Chicken was at Shoo Rite

!
Soooo funny story:
I went up to the workers and said:
“excuse me i am so sorry to bother you Doll, but I am new to cooking and I have no idea what I need or where to find this chicken, can I show it to you on my phone so I don’t tell you the wrong thing

!”
The lady was sooo nice and understanding:
She said: “ omg I love that! And absolutely follow me!” She took me right up to the chicken I need! It’s about twice as much chicken
. So I told my aunt and my dad to bring their appetites!
The lady was so nice she even found me again and said “can I help you find anything else? I love that you are starting to cook!”

That’s so nice of her! I hope your Dad and Aunt like it! I’m sure they will. And hey, you can even freeze one or two of the chicken breasts for later!
Good luck!

That is a great idea! I am making the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread with it and Sangria! I will post pictures here in the forum. Can I post pictures of Sangria? Is that allowed?

Not sure. I would think so. That’s a @BryWisteria or @MeganB type question.

Hi @Selena-Paloma,
Thank you for asking and for being mindful of community posting rules! It’s very much appreciated

To answer the question - yes, it’s okay to share pictures of alcohol and mention it in a magickal/practice-related context. If alcohol is relevant to the topic and someone wishes to explore it in more detail, due to the family-friendly nature of the forum and respect for those who struggle with the topic, we just ask that a content/trigger warning be added. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness - I 'd love to see your sangria and bread feast! Feel free to share a picture
