I absolutely love that quote by Sir Terry Pratchett It’s how I feel about the Gods. In general, when talking to people that aren’t pagans or polytheists, we use the word “believe” – but I don’t believe the Gods exist. I know they exist.

That’s funny. I have super low blood pressure, and sometimes it doesn’t read on their monitors. They put a warning on my medical notes in big red letters that reads:

Yes! I love that, too! I loved listening to the book - I think I want to get the physical book for my bookshelf, too. I wish I could watch the show, but I turned it off after the first episode the first scene with Bilquis was very, very overdone in the show.

Well… In the book… spoilers ahead → Shadow’s wife, Laura, would technically become a revenant - not quite living but not quite dead, either. So, she would be considered an “otherwise”, I think.
