So it’s been about a week and a half since I did my fire element weekly devotional that was also on the sand day as Hecate celebration. That night I did quite a few things; I did a late group ritual from Thursday, the i went straight into my devotional and celebration. I feel like I did everything right by Hecate and the element of fire. This is where it gets strange. About 10 minutes after I left Hecates offering at my door (without looking back), I swear I heard a dog barking when I kmpw there are no dogs on my street. Then, right when trying to get to sleep, I literally felt like my room was vibrating. Not shaking from an earthquake, but vibrating, like my was on vibrate and was affecting my whole room. I literally sat up so confused. WHAT HAPPENED?!
I’m pretty sure Hecate was making herself known. I have been working with her for a few years now and have never had a room vibrate, but she’s not one to come in quietly, she wants you to know that she’s there.
When it comes to assessing out-of-the-ordinary occurrences for potential symbolism (and mundane causes have already been considered and ruled out), I’ve found there are two good questions to ask: 1) Did it happen in relation to a magickal working/spell/ritual/etc? And 2) was it a one-time oddity, or are multiple things going on?
In this case, it looks like a yes to the first question, as the dog barking and room shaking happened after a devotional. And another yes to the second - the dog barking with no dogs on the streets was followed by a shaking sensation with no earthquake. Additionally, while I’m not sure about earthquakes relating to Hekate, dogs are often associated with the Lady of the Crossroads. That would be quite a lot of “coincidences” between the deity you were directly working with and out-of-the-ordinary happenings that directly proceeded it! I’m not an expert on Hekate, but I’d second Ostara and say that it seems She is reaching out to you.

Sorry, I mentioned earthquakes because, in Japan, we get many small earthquakes at night, but I never got an alert on my phone, so I knew it wasnt an earthquake.
It definitely sounds like something spiritual was going on! I agree with @BryWisteria – things line up enough to correlate the dog and vibration with Hecate

Right! I mean, if I’m crazy, I’d believe that too, but the timing of everything is just to on point. I did want say something to what @BryWisteria said about if it really is a one time thing or if this has happened multiple times, but this is the first that the vibrating thing happened.
There were a few things that happened after I left my offering for the first time. I was seeing black dogs everywhere and having weird dreams. My daughter has to drive by my house to get home and she said she saw a huge owl in the tree in front of my house. This was the same night after the offering. I had more, but that’s what I can think of at this time.
Look up Hekate in the search menu here on Spells8 and read about others experiences. This place has a wealth of information regarding everything witchy. Have fun and trust your instincts.

I received a Hecate spell kit in my Tamed Wild box, so I made an amulet, and did the spell. As soon as I put on the key necklace afterwards, I just felt so protected, and peaceful.
When it comes to counting multiple happenings, others may disagree, but I’d say that reoccurring signs don’t necessarily have to be the same exact happening over and over. Since both the earthquake and the dog barking are unique occurrences that happened close together, I’d consider them both on the list of “out-of-the-ordinary things to consider”

I actually did a prayer to her last night and gave her an offering of almonds. Nothing happened that night, but I was given some news at my job and that links back to when ai did my celebration of her on the 16th and did my meditation. She showed the different paths I could take along with one that dark, but walkable. Turns out that she wanted me to take a road, that though dark, could hold great promise.
That sounds similar to what folks often say about shadow work - that sometimes the hardest work is the most beneficial. It sounds like Hekate has a challenge with a great reward for you! If you decide you’re ready to embark on whatever path She has set, I’m cheering for you. Good luck and may She continue to watch over you!
