Do you Meditate?

One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself and your practice is meditation. There are SO many benefits. Even for just 5 minutes a day, it can provide real and measurable benefits.

I do, and have for many years. It’s an integral part of my practice and well-being.

Thank you for posting this to remind us of its many benefits! :folded_hands:

@SilverBear

I do a meditation, using the Element of Water whilst taking a shower this fits beautifully in with my daily mornings.

Thank you for sharing :waning_crescent_moon::dotted_six_pointed_star::green_heart:

It’s the only time of the day that I get to shut my brain :brain: off and focus on my thoughts . I’ve been doing meditation :person_in_lotus_position: steadily, morning for the sun :sun:, night for the moon :crescent_moon:, and noting the direction they rise and set. It’s sometimes challenging, but sometime it’s my only peace :dove: in the day. :raising_hands::person_in_lotus_position::yin_yang::hollow_red_circle::hamsa:

Please share your ritual if you would. I’d love to hear about meditation :man_in_lotus_position: and showering :shower:. I do it by rivers :national_park: and creeks. I love doing it by water :sweat_droplets:.

@Moonbeam That sounded a bit creepy, reading it back, lol. My questions were: do you play any frequency sounds while you’re in the shower, or do you visualize Anything? When I meditate by the water, especially down by the river creek, I usually have my frequency music, like shamanic music, on. Or now, I’m addicted to my Hekate frequency sounds on YouTube. Thanks, @Katharina @Moonbeam :heart_hands::old_key::dog::new_moon::yin_yang::nazar_amulet::hamsa:

You´re welcome. Always happy to pass on the “infections”. :smile:

As you all know, I´m possessed by an adhd-gremlin :smile: so this form of meditation, where you sit and try to get calm is not possible for me. My mind quiets, when my body moves: yoga, dance, walking - or when my hands are creating art: painting, sculpting, crocheting, coloring in a sweet coloring page; my latest hyperfocus is working with paper clay.
Laying in the bath tub with a guided meditation in my headphones also works well or giving myself Reiki (which is a form of meditation anyway).

So, if you´re like me and quieting your mind is next to impossible (let´s be honest: my brain is a circus and sometimes all the clowns are in the ring at once.) fret not, there are many other ways of meditation that will work for you, too. :purple_heart:

And since I’ll be working midnight shifts for the next few weekends while my client is asleep, that gives me time to do some courses on here and study. I really appreciate the opportunity, the prayers, and the spells. Thank you for sending me the website about family curses.I I’ve just been reading that repeatedly. It’s been a big help. I’m really looking forward to receiving my statue of her now that I know all the offerings; I Find Hecate’s virtual altar on here. A little bit ago, I left her an offering :garlic::heart_hands::old_key::dog::crossed_swords::waning_crescent_moon::full_moon::waxing_crescent_moon:
