Does anyone know of a Spell for a sick tummy?!

Does anyone know of anything I could do for my sick tummy? I finally started eating again two days ago. I went five days without food.

This has been going on for a week now!

The fever, chills, and sweats are finally gone, but my tummy is still so sick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am so miserable.

Thanks,

Blessed Be.

Heres a gentle diet I give my kids.

Breakfast. Burnt toast, nothing on it and a cup of hot sweet tea, minimal milk, sans milk is better. (that’s English tea like a standard black tea or an earl grey)

Lunch. 2 slices of plain toast, with hard boiled eggs (2). Once eggs boiled, break off the shells and spread the eggs over the toast, sprinkle with salt, serve with full sugar Ribena, not blackcurrant juice but actual Ribena. Don’t guzzle it, sip slowly. (Don’t make the Ribena too strong, a quatre Ribena in a glass then 3/4 water.)

Tea. Large Jacket potato. Again served with Ribena.

Throughout the day keep your fluids up drinking water and Ribena.

Stay off dairy, pork and red meat for three days. Do the above diet for day one, day two you can introduce chicken breast, day three you can add more veg and add fruit.

The above diet was given to me by my kids doctor, it gets the salts and sugars into the body, keeps you hydrated and is gentle on the stomach.

If you want to add a little magic, mutter the rune :uruz: gently as you are preparing the dishes at least 9 times with a little incantation like so:

" Uruz uruz uruz uruz uruz uruz uruz uruz uruz help me become strong again."

Hope you get well soon lovely :green_heart:

I usually just do the traditional ginger, but I have, like, a cast-iron stomach. I can eat pizza while sick and not have problems. If I’m not up to eating anything, it’s time to go to the doctor.

Can your doctor do anything? I know they have anti-nausea meds. Maybe they would help.

Prince of Peace Ginger Chews. I can find them sometimes at Dollar General or order them from Amazon. The “BRAT” diet is simple with small quantities every 2 to 3 hrs.
Bananas, Rice, Applesauce(Apple Juice) Toast.
Seek medical attention if you don’t feel better in at least 2 days. It’s not a spell, just old school treatment.
I have GURD and IBS. So I’m constantly battling symptoms from one end or the other. Visiting the doctor can cost plenty when you can’t afford health insurance. I will go to the local hospital’s E.R. if my symptoms aren’t getting better. I have also found help with local charities. Blessing for feeding better soon :butterfly:

Old school Indiana recipes for an upset tummy: soft foods like grilled fish or cold canned salmon or tuna salad. May include saltine crackers, but go easy. Eating too much too fast causes a relapse of tummy issues.

Gatorade or PowerAde help balance electrolytes. Increase liquid intake in any form possible, but again, drink slowly so it doesn’t overwhelm the system. Most soda pop will cause bloating and gas, but 7Up helps expel gas.

I used to bake shortbread with mint flavoring for my mother when she got sick. The mint helps soothe the nerves in the stomach, while the sugar and salty butter balance electrolytes and the flour provides a bit of bulk in the intestines to get them used to having something in there again. Again, eat slow. Let the bite of cookie melt in your mouth. Only take another bite once the flavor has gone completely, no matter how hungry you feel nor how good it tastes.

If you can’t handle even a saltine cracker, chicken broth, aka Jewish Penicillin, is worth your while to get liquids into your system. Graduate to jello. Once you can handle that, consider chicken flavored ramen (more broth than soft noodle) or Campbell’s condensed chicken noodle soup- no veggies- or chicken rice soup.

Not all of these will work for all people. Mix and match. Find which works for you and keep a record of it for next time. Take it slow and easy. Even a couple of tablespoonfuls is better than nothing.

Remember the headache behind the eyes is telling you that you are dehydrated. You may not feel thirsty. Or you may have a white tongue- thrush- also called having a coated tongue. If it’s been long enough, you may get sores in the mouth. Again, this is all from dehydration. It is reversable, just drink.

My go to when I can’t eat because of upset tummy or nausea is just nibble ritz crackers throughout the day and drink peppermint tea or warm coke. Avoid dairy products.

Hope you’re better soon! :purple_heart::people_hugging:

I’m so sorry you’re still fighting off the ickies. It sounds like things are getting better slowly but surely - I hope you’re back to normal asap!

You’ve got some great advice and tips from the coven about remedies to help your healing journey. Everyone’s body is wonderfully unique, and what works for one person may not work the same for another, so while I know it’s tough when you’re already feeling down, but you may want to try to experiment with remedies to find what works well for you :people_hugging:

If I can offer what works for me, I’m adding to the choir when I say ginger. There’s a reason so many folks have mentioned it here!

Straight ginger is a bit much for me personally, as is ginger beer (non-alcoholic), but ginger ale or ginger candles are my lifeline when I’m feeling nauseous. It doesn’t matter what is causing the nausea - ginger has helped me when I feel motion sick on airplanes or boats, have a tummy bug, have crippling menstrual cramps, or even when I get vertigo.

For getting nutrients into the belly, I’m seconding broth - especially homemade broth made from meat and veggies. It’s easy to get down, easy to digest, and is loaded with important nutrients that your body needs. The next level up is saltine crackers. From there, soft foods in small amounts.

Bit by bit, you’ll get back to normal! Sending hugs and healing energy

I’m sorry you’re not feeling well!

I’m going to add my vote for things like ginger and toast. I’ve also heard that salt can help with nausea, so that might help if that’s something you’re experiencing before you eat.

Just to clarify the thrush thing, that’s not caused by dehydration. It’s an overgrowth of a naturally occurring oral fungus. You can get thrush when you’re sick because your immune system is too busy fighting off the other illness. It needs to be treated with anti-fungal medication.

@Hopecouture36 - thank you so much!

@Amethyst - thank you dear heart as always you are the best!

I did a reverse mirror spell last night and immediately felt better! Go figure! I think it was from one of the items I bought on Etsy! I think one of the Etsy ship owners might gave hexed me or something as crazy as that sounds. I’ve been fine since.

@MeganB - thank you!

I always drink a ton of water!

I drink two liters of water a day!

Thank you, me too! I felt bad for Zeus! I couldn’t take him out for five days. He was going potty on puppy pads. I felt awful for him. He is back to his happy self though. I took him to doggy daycare the other day so that he could play with the other dogs.

I just started to feel really sick again. I have no idea what’s going on!

If it keeps up, you should 100% go see a doctor. A spiritual culprit is possible, but so is an illness.

I did go see one of my doctors the other day. I had a minor procedure done in the beginning of July which cause a lot of bleeding everything is fine but the bleeding is back now too. I am going to make an appointment to go back to the doctor.

I am able to get in with my primary on Monday early afternoon. I was already checked for a few things early this week though.

Not liking the thought that the bleeding has come back. They didn’t tell you to go to the ER to get that checked?

Take it easy this weekend until you can get in to the doctor on Monday. Keep hydrated and just have broth or soup to eat, with crackers or dry toast Nothing spicy. Rest up until you can get in to the doctor on Monday.

Sending healing energies my friend.
