I woke up this morning having after having a nightmare. I am not great interperting dreams. So, asking for any help anyone can share.
I dont remember alot of the dream other then everyone(including my animals) were dead. I was in a house looking for my other half(my king) and found him dead,as I went from room to room and I found everyone close to me was dead. It wasnt violent or bloody, they were just dead. I woke up crying and it took me awhile to stop and realized it was just a dream. I shook me to my core.
Any insight would be a great help.

I’m sorry about the nightmare, it sounds very upsetting For an interpretation, I personally view dreams through a mundane lens before I move to magickal interpretation. Consciousness is still an evolving area of study, but science says that our brains can use dreams as a way to process memories and try to help us prepare for the future. That isn’t to say that what we experience in dreams is always prophetic, just that our minds can use dreams to try to prepare us for anything, and they often dig into our deepest fears or insecurities.
This means that, sometimes, what we see in dreams is a reflection of our mental state. Having nightmares may be reflective of stress and current emotions, or potentially are a guiding sign to explore those feelings and fears in more depth, perhaps with a trusted therapist and/or via Shadow Work.
Now, I don’t want to say that dreams can’t be magickal messages - I think they can absolutely be signs from higher powers! But I’ve found that messages from the divine are made very obvious, and often appear in patterns of reptition. Seeing a crow once is likely just nature being nature. But seeing the same crow many days in a row, in many places, in multiple forms (the animal, in symbolism, on TV, hearing about them, etc)? That’s worth looking into deeper!
When in doubt about any signs or dreams or messages, divination is a magickal key to answers. If you feel this nightmare has a deeper meaning for you, perhaps take your favorite form of divination and explore it more.
