Can i use bergamot instead of lemon?

You can use whatever calls to you. But typically you would substitute something with similar types of properties or with a metaphysical energy that aligns with whatever you are making. So, spiritually, bergamot holds the energy of joy, balance and strength and Lemon means, joy, protection, and purification in this case it would work as a fine sub.
