I mentioned on the Friends of Trees post that Eric took me in to the ER today. I didn’t want to hijack that thread though, so I started another post.
Yesterday I was getting really bad ear ache in my right ear. Today, the ear ache felt better, but I started getting really sharp, intermittent pain in one specific spot on my head, a couple of inches behind my ear. I probably wouldn’t have worried too much about it but I have a history of cerebral aneurysms and pituitary tumor, so Eric offered to take me in to the ER, just to make sure it was nothing serious.
So, after spending all evening in the ER, where they did a CT scan, it turns out I actually do have something that may possibly be another aneurysm in the very early stages of formation on the cerebellar artery. (Actually nowhere near where I was feeling pain, and not causing it in any way) They advised following up with my neurologist. It’s just lucky that I happened to go in and have the CT scan or who knows when I might have found out about the aneurysm. The universe was looking after me, although it didn’t feel like it at the time.
In the meantime, the doctor prescribed some meds for a sinus infection to help alleviate the pressure and fluid in my ear, which is causing the ear ache (which is back again). Of course, we can’t pick those up until morning, so now I’m drinking hot chocolate before going to bed and trying to sleep.
Good gods, @Greenbriar ! I’m so sorry to hear about this, especially on top of what you’re going through with the tree. (Glad you were able to say your prayer, but I’ll talk about that in the other thread.)
I hope you can fall asleep and stay asleep all night! You need to go pick up your medicine and get the appointment with your neurologist.
I know this sounds awful, but I am so glad you were in pain! That is a blessing this time, because I’ve heard of so many aneurysms that come out of nowhere! I feel blessed that you can type this and that you are still with us! I’m sorry you’re in pain. This time it was a good thing!
Sending you much love and healing! I hope your poor head gets better!
Adding in my thoughts and prayers too! I’m sorry about the pain and the difficulties - goodness knows ER trips are never fun - but hopefully the meds helped and you were able to get some good rest
Would you like this request to be added to the Energy Exchange Circle? I’d be happy to add you to the list
Thank you for your good wishes everyone. @BryWisteria yes please, it would be wonderful if you would add me to the energy exchange. I appreciate the offer
@Greenbriar I agree with @Amethyst that pain was a blessing in disguise. My twin flame died from a brain aneurysm a few years ago. I can’t even imagine what would have happened if you didn’t have that pain! My heart hurts thinking about it! I have been reciting my Daily Healing Prayers. You and your family are still on my list! I hope you can see the neurologist soon. I am so glad that you have Eric. We have spoken about how wonderful he is. Thank goodness he is so attentive. On a lighter note, how was that hot chocolate? I love hot chocolate? Yum! What kind was it?
Once again I thank the Goddess that this was discovered.
A little back story – 9 years ago, I was having my nails done and the nail tech hurt my big toe and it made me see stars and go faint and white as a sheet. I came around quickly, but out of caution I didn’t drive home, but my husband came and picked me up and took me to the ER. They did a CT scan then and discovered not one, but THREE aneurysms AND a pituitary tumor!!! Again, something I would have known nothing about until something awful happened. I still tell Mickey (the nail tech) that she saved my life that day!
I had three different major surgeries that summer, including a craniotomy. I spent my 60th birthday in hospital and the nurses sang Happy Birthday to me and presented me with a cupcake to celebrate
Anyway, I am calm and at ease about this. I’m in good hands. I have a follow up appointment scheduled with the neurologist in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for sharing the back story, @Greenbriar. You have been through the wringer!
But it sounds like it’s also given you inner strength and this beautiful calm of spirit. We’re all cheering for you on the sidelines, of course, but clearly you got this. The healing energy of your coven is coming your way. Blessed be!
