I just made a Horseshoe spread and applied different “meaning” for each placement.
In the horseshoe shape. I place the card 4, first, the Querent. Then cards 1, 2, 3 descending on the Left for 1-past, 2-goal, 3-action to take, 4 (bottom of horseshoe, and first placed card is the querent), going up on the Right, card 5-likely outcome, 6-obstacle, 7-present. You will see in the horseshoe shape that cards 1 and 7 (top, L side; top R side) go together, past and present, similarly, cards 2 and 6 are the goal and the obstacle, cards 3 and 5 are action to take and likely outcome; with the querent in the middle, card 4 at the bottom. I decided to try this layout before asking my question and making the spread. WOW This read was so spot-on. I am going to try this layout for the horseshoe again and see how it goes. Maybe I will adopt this one.
If you feel uncomfortable doing something (cinnamon and cats), then definitely do not do it. Your intent would not “be” in the place you need it. So, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Don’t do anything that does not feel right.
You’re absolutely right. I never felt comfortable about it, so I just haven’t ever done it. But now @georgia has got my mind on visions of cinnamon buns…. well you never know…. LOL
Could I maybe make cinnamon rolls and take them out the back door and bring them in the front door? I have very religious neighbors, and my front porch is higher up and on display lol.
