The Importance of Your Familiar, how you obtain one and why you need them. Also, why they need to be near you.
We are Wicca kind and some cannot be around certain animal or creature types. However, that does not mean you must forgo having a familiar.
A familiar is any kind of animal or creature that is helpful, kind, and protectively guiding to and for you.
All living creatures and people have shades. Shades of your familiar may even come to you in certain situations or circumstances. I only mention shades because some Wicca see things that are not of human shape from what I have read in the previous posts in the coven.
Having a familiar is most helpful for Wicca kind. Now obtaining a familiar is fairly simple. They are animals or creatures that are most drawn to you. Even though you may be in denial about these animals or creatures and having one around. They always seem to find you, and you should always be kind to them. Sometimes you may pick your familiar by creating a bond with them. Owning your familiar is not necessary. It is very nice though and they most definitely without a doubt undoubtedly would very much like to be in the same dwelling with you or as close as humanly possible to you. However, being kind, respectful and platonically loving towards them is required. They appreciate manners and not all like to be pets, petted or called by standard animal or creature names. They know who they are and what they are doing! You should trust your familiar always!
Just like your instincts, you’re familiar has them. When you’re familiar is away from you, for long periods of time, they worry just like you worry. They need to be near you because it makes them feel better just like knowing you need to do something and you have yet to do it you’re familiar knows that they need to protect you and show you signs of things to help you, the best they can when it is appropriate and necessary.
