My name is Kat, and I practice bioregional animism grounded in the North Carolina Piedmont. I’ve been practicing for over 30 years, and I create my own divination tools adapted to my local ecosystem, including ogham staves and seasonal tree divination sets. I work with herbalism and gardening, and I’ve worked with exotic and domestic animals for 40+ years. My practice is hands-on. I craft tools, make runes, deity figurines, and bind my own Books of Shadows. I explore the collaboration of magick and science.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!

So glad you found us!! I am very pleased that you were able to leave the bad living situation. So pleased that you told everyone. If they left you, they must not have been a real friend anyway. How you doing in San Fran? Feel free to look at everything, lots, and lots of information here. I still haven’t seen all of it. I’ve been here a little under a year.
Feel free to be yourself here, everyone is understanding
Merry meet @ashley3. I’m Jayne, originally from England, but have lived in Texas for most of my life. Feel free to jump into any conversation that interests you, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
I wanted to say welcome to the group. You’ll find a kind, supportive and safe place to be you with us. It sounds like you had a hard time for a while. I’m glad you landed here. I’m wishing you the best in your new life and look forward to hearing more from you. Blessings,
Hi everyone! I wanted to reply individually, but the layout of this forum is pretty convenient for me to do one big thank you to everyone who replied and welcomed me! I appreciate you all and can see how friendly, inviting, and warm everyone is here. Thank you again, everyone, and I can’t wait to learn and share with you all!
Where are you in Texas? I was Mrs. El Paso 1999. My g-grandmother settled Denton in the 20s or 30s. The state even used Manifest Destiny to take her property for the freeway I-35? through town. She built her house from the stones they took out of the fields. Husband died about 1938, she raised 10 kids, 9 went to college. She also happens to be the line where our Craft comes from. Some of our ancestresses were tried in Salem during the “burning times”. Anywhoooo, I’m yapping again. But, hey where are you? I spent 3 years in Laredo, my oldest was in Killeen for training after 9-11. So, where are you and what do you do??
I’m originally from Asia too! Singapore to be precise. I now live in Adelaide, South Australia with my family comprising of hubby, an adult son, an almost adult son and our rambunctious border collie.
Ooh! You’re into craft that I’ve been wanting to get into - namely the candlemaking and wire wrapping. And I’ve been wanting to learn photography too. Bought my camera but still have no idea how to use it besides pointing and shooting
Our backgrounds sound pretty familiar. Lots of interpersonal trauma here as well. I’m a DID system (6 different known personalities so far) and there’s always an internal battle between the one who is Catholic and me, who’s the witch. Our psychologist often plays the mediator. I’m the chatterbox one too while the others are quieter. So if I’m talking a lot like now, it’s probably me, Lucy
I’ve only been here a few days, but already I feel a sense of coming home. I feel comfortable to be myself here. No masks needed. Oh dear! Here come the waterworks again!
Anyways, I look forward to getting to know you, Mikko!
