Greetings from Mexico! I’m a recent early- retiree originally from California, moved to Arizona in 2010 and now am a full time resident of Mexico since 2023. Against a lifetime of religious conditioning, I broke the “rules” and I had a Reiki session last summer. The beautiful healer invited me to come to a women’s circle here last fall and I’ve been on my new path ever since.
So much information here but so well organized! I’m proof you are never to old to learn and grow❤️
My name is Kat, and I’ve been practicing the craft for over 30 years. My interests include herbalism, gardening, and divinatory practices like tarot, throwing bones, and Lenormand.
Congratulations on your two adventures, retiring to Mexico and exploring your new path! Both are very exciting and hopefully rewarding.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!
We’re glad to have you here. Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!
Hi, @LisaMarie8! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
Wow, Mexico! That sounds lovely. I’m glad you found your women’s circle and then your way to us! You’re brave for striking out on a new path after a lifetime on another.
We’re a pretty friendly bunch here, so if you have any questions or anything, just ask and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
My first Reiki was in college. I had never heard of it before, but I’d fallen and twisted my ankle. My dorm neighbor did the energy work and healed me so well, I haven’t had a twisted ankle again since! I used to get them so often- 26 twists on one ankle and 27 on the other.
Feel free to join in any conversation which interests you!
Welcome @LisaMarie8 ! It’s great to have you with us! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with divination and voodoo and I am studying Enochian magick.
I have been considering finding a reiki healer for my fibromyalgia pain. But can’t find one close enough to me.
This is a wonderful group with much knowledge from many aspects of the craft. I look forward to learning more about your practice and growing with you.

I’m Jayne, a novice witch living in Texas. I agree that you are never too old to learn and grow, I only got started on this path last November, aged 68.
Looks like you’ve already discovered what a great and well organized site this is. The forum here is also very welcoming. Jump into any convos that take your interest, and please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
