Here are my answers
What small thing(s) do you routinely do to help your local (or global) environment?
reduce single use plastics, I make my coffee in the morning at home and use a travel thermos bottle so I don’t buy disposable coffee cups, I recycle, household waste
I donate clothes to Charity and the clothes I do wear they usually are very worn before I dispose of them
My Gas & Electricity Supplier is Octopus which primarily uses renewables energy from wind and solar.
Grow my own, herbs, vegetables as much as I can, and buy local produce/UK to reduce my carbon footprint.
I buy Eco Plant Products for cleaning my home to reduce micro plastics, chemicals and pollutants going into the watercourses, rivers and the ocean.
I use organic peat free compost, natural weed control in my gardens and do not use any pesticides not only for my plants but it can be toxic to my Koi Fish.
I donate monthly to The National Trust to Plant a Tree which I have done since 2021 They are committed to plant millions of different trees species and I want to be part of that to help Mother Earth fight back.
If I do buy something I make sure it comes from ethical authorised sources.
What was your first car?
A Red Audi TT. She was lovely but had to replace when we got two dogs. We now have a Land Rover Discovery
Have you ever painted a room?
Yes all my home & garden fences, pergola, wooden sleepers. I have been touching up inside in April and May in the gardens.
Do you have any wind-up clocks in your house?
No everything automatically syncs when the clocks move during the year.
What’s your favorite type of doughnut?
It has to be Fair-Ground Ring Sugar Doughnuts. Simply but absolutely yummy. They have a stall in our local town centre (during the Summer) I cannot resist to buy them if I am in town. Not very often but a really good treat.
