I’ve been exploring different ways to get to know a tarot deck, and I thought about the various interview spreads, and then it occurred to me that I could ask fun questions too. Maybe the deck has a sense of humor?
So I asked something frivolous, just to see what would happen: if I was invisible for a day, what would I do? Then I picked 3 cards:-
1 - The Fool - yes, I would most likely spend a great deal of time enjoyong the freedom and possibilites!
2 - 9 Cups - the dude sitting there smug as - makes me think of robbing a bank…me, rob a bank although, if I was invisible…
3 - The World - well, it’s about time a woman conquered the world lol! Although it would be typical that I would conquer the world while I’m invisible…
Anyhoo, I thought someone else might like to explore their decks’ fun sides, if you haven’t already…enjoy!
As soon as I get the yard cleaned up i’m going to do something like this. It does sound fun. The cards you drew were so inline with the question. Love it.
@Mystique I’ll bet yours does too! There are so many random questions one can ask…which Avenger would I be, if you were a person who would you be, who’s your favourite character in movie/program, if you were a celebrity who would you be, show me a movie plot in 5-10 cards…the possibilites are literally endless.
What I think will be really interesting will be seeing the variety between the decks, that will really show where they each are in the humour scale. Have fun!
I don’t have my physical cards with me right now, but this looks like fun! I’ll use my digital ogham for now and maybe pull a card from a different deck later
I asked the same question as you – if I was invisible for a day, what would I do?
Gort is cultivating a feeling of home, peace, and safety, allowing the gardens of our hearts and minds to grow beautifully and uninhibited in their glory.
Well… without getting too much into it, this makes a lot of sense for me, at least for where I am right now. One of the keywords for Gort is peace, and I can tell you that if I were invisible, I would find a nice meadow or natural place to go to and just exist. No one would know I was there, no one would need me, no one would ask me to do things for them… just existence in peaceful bliss…
Whoa! What an interesting result. At times, I think most of us wish for that meadow in our life. You have said you don’t meditate a lot. However, with a few practice sessions and for short periods, you can go to that meadow in your mind. It is very relaxing and healing.
I know you are so very familiar with the exercises here on Spells8 but I will still recommend a Green Candle meditation. It will get you to that meadow and then beyond but nothing is wrong with stopping there and enjoying it. I started listening to it to make sure it was the right one and I immediately relaxed and started seeing and feeling it. Of course, meditation is my bag so that wasn’t surprising.
Edit: You don’t need a green candle - or any candle. I once fell asleep in a Doctor’s waiting room while listening to one of the candle meditations. They woke me up to go into the prep room and my BP was 104.
I imagine so - I think where my head was with this is there’s always interruptions, so if I am invisible in a meadow or natural place, I can make sure I’m alone. Then, I’ll reduce my chances of being interrupted or needed
