Gaia Bloom Spell

What makes this spell unique is the use of the soil, as both a grounding anchor and a living altar. How cool is that?!

You are not juist calling on Gaia symbolically, you are literally touching her body and returning something to her.

Optional: you can also carve a simple spiral into the candle…this is Gaia’s symbol. The spiral represents the eternal cycle of death and rebirth that spring embodies.

And feel free to change the incantation to whatever feels authentic to you. Gaia responds to sincerity, not perfection. speak from the heart and you’re already doing it right!

Happy blooming!

I know just what to give Gaia, if he lets me catch him…

Shortly after I took delivery of my sectional chair, I noticed a mouse running across my floor. I’m not afraid of him, but I am afraid for him. I bought catch and release traps, but I also asked for advice from the office and let the company I bought the sectional from know that they need to check their stores for more. Pest control has been called, and they will not be so kind. If mouse will allow me to catch him, I will release him in a field or out by the mountains so he can find food and live a normal life. Transportation has been arranged.

I’m just hoping to get the mouse outdoors before he harms Albus. Mice kill birds. I’m glad Albus has an open cage policy: he knows he can fly from his attacker. I tried to keep the mouse out of the bedroom, but he hid in my closet while I was cleaning cages, this morning.

What a beautiful spell! I do like to carve into candles sometimes, and this one invites me to it it.

This is so perfect for me right now - thank you, @SilverBear !

@georgia - good luck with your mouse!

Smart Aleck broke out the back of one trap and set off the other without getting inside. Mouse has refused the gift of travel somewhere in nature, so there will be no live gift to Gaia. This looks like a case of learning to live with a mouse with the least possible amount of damage until the management gets involved. They already know.

So much for lightening my load and simplifying my life! Yet mouse can teach me how to protect my belongings and show me what I have grown too blind to see. I’m glad I was storing for freshness and to keep out bugs, but now there’s an extra step.

He (I use the word hopefully) prefers to be up during the day. So far, he’s been a rather social character, preferring to be in the same room with me, though he doesn’t spend time in full view.
