Good Morning Meditation with The Morrigan

Good Morning everyone!

:sparkles:Morning Mediation:sparkles:

We all have times when our energy is low and we feel unbalanced. This morning I decided to make a cup of tea sit down and do a mediation. As my birthday is coming up my raven skull arrived early. I decided to invoke my Deity “The Morrigan” I sat for 10mins sipping away at my tea and closed my eyes and honoured her. Below is a spell I wrote asking for strength and healing my inner self.

In Celtic mythology, the Morrígan (Phantom Queen) is associated with war, fate, prophecy, and sovereignty. She is often invoked in shadow work and is a triple goddess. The origin of the Morrígan dates back to the cult of mothers in Celtic mythology. She is present in all wars and warlike confrontations, taking the form of a raven that she flies over in each of the battles, instilling courage in the soldiers and of course giving them strength, anger and rage. She is commonly known for being involved in the Táin Bó Cúailnge, where she is both a helper and a hindrance to the hero Cú Chulainn.**

You can worship the Morrígan in a way that feels right to you. However, she is particularly useful when you are doing shadow work. When you call upon her and worship her during your time of self-actualization she can appear. Some people choose to visit graveyards to feel her presence.

Origin - Irish mythology
Symbols - Triquetra and Triskele The Raven / Crow
Incense - Dragons Blood
Element - Air

“ Mother Morrigan I come to you

With a heavy heart and a restless mind

May I ask for Strength and Calmness I seek and hope to find

Let the wind carry away the burden and heavy weight

Let the love and light seal my fate.

So it is now and so mote it be.”

Feel free to add if anyone needs a pick me up.

Have a blessed day my friends. :triple_moon_goddess:
