Before I found tou wonderful humans. I was mostly only celbrating yule cause i really dont like christmas and wanted to reclaim the holiday.

I empathize with that a lot! My family celebrates Christmas, and although it’s in a non-religious way, it is very much a commercial Christmas. It gets stressful with all of the obligatory gifts and spending and expectations and competition and … oof. Yeah.
I love how Yule focuses on the natural and spiritual side of things. Each of the 12 days honors a higher focus, but they all explore gratitude and appreciation in different ways. I find it so refreshing.
