I am a solitary eclectic witch, interested in reading cards, channeling, and active imagination (from when I was 15). Staring at a big wood makes me talk with it. I easily imagine myself younger, with fury, with sorrow, etc., and we talk or do something. (for example, in my mind, we sing a song together; or I, with a body, tear some papers, etc.)
I balance between my belief and my major (analytic philosophy). But at least for me, these two do not collide with each other. (maybe bcuz my philosophical thoughts and arguments are for my intuitive beliefs, rather than against them.)

These cards sound interesting! I use Lenormand cards for divination, and find them very approachable.

I’m Stephanie or Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California. My practice leans into hearth craft and green witchery, along with lots of divination: tarot, runes, oracle, and Lenormand are some of my favorites. I also spend a lot of time exploring ancestry work, shadow work, and weaving self-care into everyday magic.
What you described about active imagination and talking with parts of yourself, memories, or even the energy of a place actually resonates a lot. I have only child syndrome, and I’ve spent my life talking to anything and everything around me lol.
And honestly, I love that you’re balancing this with analytic philosophy. For a lot of us, intuition and logic don’t fight each other, they just look at the same mysteries from different directions. Sometimes philosophy asks the questions, and magic explores the experience.

We have several card sections for practicing daily pulls. Search on (month)(card type). Tarot, Lenormand, Court of light and Shadow (Oracle). There are also lots of other areas to work with cards.

i understand. I didn’t have the best mom either for various reasons. Being an only child did have its pluses when I was very young but as I got older, I truly did not like being the only one her attention focused on.
I am a Solitary Eclectic/Hedge Witch and my divinations are crystals, candle magic, tarot, runes, angel numbers, lenormand, tending outdoor, indoor plants and growing herbs, garlic, tomatoes, spell jars, spell bags, sun & moon water, water meditation and home cleansing. I am doing the daily Oracle Cards which is my new go to.
I try to simplify, balance and live intentionally to create a calm, peaceful, relaxing home for my family and and two German Shorthair Pointer Dogs and Koi Fish
