Halloween Playlist

Hey y’all! I’ve been making a Halloween Playlist on YouTube, and I thought I’d share it here. I’ve got the usual stuff. Thriller, Ghostbusters, and different versions of I Put A Spell on You. I’ve got just a few country songs, since I don’t listen to that much. But I have Ghost Riders and Devil Went Down to Georgia. I’ve got Metal, like Demons Are A Girl’s Best Friends, Master of Puppets, Welcome to My Nightmare, and Feed My Frankenstien. Always fun to watch people hear that one for the first time!

I’ve got some Broadway songs. Phantom of the Opera, of course, but also Say My Name from the Beetlejuice musical, Mean Green Mother From Outer Space, Time Warp, and When You’re an Addams.

I’ve got the Pagan music covered with Faun, Damh the Bard, and Incubus Succubus, along with a few versions of Hecate. I’ve got Synth Metal with Within Temptation and Nightwish. Goth with Blackbriar, and Snow White Blood.

I’ve got a few fan videos of Loki and Harley Quinn, because you have to have a crazy clown for Halloween! Some TV and Movie soundtracks, like a few songs from Supernatural, AHS, The Crow, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s one musical episode. I’ve got covers of stuff like Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame and a great cover of Thriller. One of the guys who is my favorite cover singers did a few Halloween readings, so I’ve got the Raven and The Cremation of Sam McGee. I’ve also got a track of Johnny Cash reading that last one. And I’ve got some Orchestral Halloween music.

I even have a group that does original songs with people dressed as the Disney Villains! Very cute. And some SNL skits that were funny. I’m looking for more of those from before the 2000s.

But yeah, I’m sharing it all with you, in hopes that you’ll enjoy it! I’d play it shuffled because sometimes I’d search for a song and find two or three versions of it, and save them all at the same time.

And if you have any suggestions, please let me know! Like I said, I don’t listen to Country music that much, so while I know a few of the classic Halloween country songs, I don’t know anything new.

Oh snap! This looks amazing! I’ll be locked in my room this weekend finishing up several papers… and I’ll be rocking out to this!… at least until I notice I’m singing more than I’m actually working and then I’ll have to find something lofi :slight_smile: Epic playlist! Well done you!

You’re welcome! I hope you like them. I have some weird tastes. Blackbriar is a bit odd, I must admit, but I love their lead singer! She’s awesome!

Well… I usually end up singing to it and then I get distracted. I tend to study better to lofi or chants in languages I don’t know… but I’m listening to it lots of other times!!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let those of you listening to the playlist know that I’ve added some parody videos. I found The Merkins, and well, I was gloriously delighted! But then again y’all know I have a weird sense of humor.

But I did want to let y’all know sense in a few there’s some swearing. Mostly mild, but there you go. Plus, well, it’s mostly slasher movies they use for the parody videos. So they’re making fun of killed and stalking and the like. So if that offends you and you’re listening, if you see a video that bothers you, please just skip forward.

But if you would love seeing Jason sing odes to his Mommy, Leatherface singing country music, or Michael Myers in Kiss make up, I hope you enjoy! I’ll be looking for more parodies, because this stuff just tickles my funny bone!
