Hi, my name is Melissa and I’m new here to just about everything. I have a few things I am certain about and feel comfortable sharing.
I prefer to go by saylor
For the time being I’m a closeted baby witch / new broom who is learning and I am a Grey Witch and solitary.
Welcome to the Coven, @saylor - and Merry Meet!
I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan, and also a solitary witch though not especially closeted. Happy to meet you and the Coven is thrilled that you have joined us!
Your new Coven is full of caring, kind and informative people- never hesitate to ask questions about anything on your mind. Read through the forums, participate as much as you like! We have a lot of fun here in addition to sharing information.
I’m looking forward to seeing you around! Blessings to you, saylor.
Hi Saylor! Welcome!! Im somewhat new to the forum too!
My name is Kimi, but any form of the name Kimberley is fine with me. Im named after a pink dragon from my dad’s favorite book series. And the pink power ranger. Basically I was born to love pink and boy do I lolol. Im a solitary witch as well and somewhat closeted (my extended family all think Im a Christian still lol imma let them think that) but Im lucky to have my mom and my two friends who are all fine with it, my one friend is even a witch as well.
Im so glad youre here! As a new member of this forum, I dont know my way around that well yet but I HIGHLY recommend the tarot threads if you’re into cards and there are tons of spells on here that I’ve found inspiring. Take a look around and make yourself at home! So glad youre here!
Hi, Kimi! Nice to meet you. Thank you for writing back! I think I’ve always been into my “witchy ways” I just didn’t know how to go about exploring them AND reconciling them with modern Christian beliefs. But I really got serious a few months ago. I have to be really careful because everything grabs my interests but my brain cannot handle all I’m trying to absorb. So, I’m trying to keep things simple. Follow the phases of the moon, simple protection spells and learning about crystals.
Hello Feathertip and thank you for the warm welcome! I’m excited to be here and eager to learn!
Hello and welcome. I’m Tracy from England. I work with the Runes. Make yourself at home lovely
Saylor!
Heyyy girlll!
I am a Solitary Eclectic Witch from New Jersey! I left the Accounting Industry last August to pursue my dreams of becoming a Spiritual Healer!
Anyway, enough about me! Welcome to the Coven! You’ll love it here!
We have a lot of great courses here at Spells8:
We also have a Challenge every two weeks! They are super fun! Or maybe I’m just super weird !
We also have activities going on during the week too!
Even though we are spread all across the world, it feels like we are altogether most of the time.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Blessed Be
Hi and welcome to the coven, @saylor .
I’m Jayne, originally from England but now live in Texas. I recently adopted the witch name Greenbriar as it more close aligns with my practice, which leans toward earth and nature magic.
We’re glad to have you with us. Feel free to jump into any conversation that interests you and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We have witches here from all over the world and any one of us will be willing to help and answer questions.
You’re very welcome, sweetie - don’t be a stranger, as they say!
I understand there’s a lot to absorb, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the newness of it all. But, as our sweet @kimberley3 reminds us, you’re not alone in being a beginner, so take your time and let yourself enjoy your new journey!
Think of your new Coven as a safe space. You belong here.
Hi @saylor! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
It’s great to have you here! We welcome all types of witches. I’m an Eclectic Witch myself, and I like learning from a bit of everything! The Witch Challenges are great for that, really help you learn different things.
If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
Welcome to the coven @saylor ! It’s great to have you with us! I’ve been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with voodoo and divination and occasionally a little demonolatry. I’m also studying Enochian magick.
This a great group of people who practice in many different areas. Feel free to jump in wherever you feel comfortable and don’t be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one unasked.
Blessings
Greetings!
My name is Kat, and I started practicing the craft in 1993. I practice nature magick with a bioregional focus, working closely with the natural world and drawing inspiration from plant and animal spirits. I’m drawn to herbalism, gardening, and various forms of divination - tarot, throwing bones, lenormand, and ogham.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!
We’re glad to have you here. Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!:

Hi saylor!
Welcome to Spells8!
The coven is super cool and very friendly. I’m sure you will love it.
I’m Dan and I study belief systems. My path falls loosely under the Chaos umbrella. I like to do cards (Tarot and Lenormand) and occasionally runes. My current obsession is Norse Mythology but I dabble in lots of things.
Hello @saylor,
Welcome to the forum! I’m Bry, one of the moderators and an Eclectic Witch. Just stopping by to say hello - it’s very nice to meet you. Please make yourself at home here in the forum!

HIhi! thank you for your reply. my name is Melissa but I 100% prefer saylor. I’m near the Houston area and in my baby witch / broom stage. I’m having lots of fun learning.
Hi Dan. Nice to meet you. I’m definitely a baby grey witch. I have an interest in Norse Mythology but I really enjoy Latin / Greek mythology. I’m trying to not get too overwhelmed in my interests because right now everything sounds so exciting.
Yep. All of us go through that and I think many of us still have the "Look, there’s a squirrel’ thing going. Take your time and enjoy the ride!
