Hello from somewhere over the rainbow!

hi there! my name is angelena estrella, lena for short. i’m a minor baby witch (who is old enough to sign up, promise!). i’m from the southwest, somewhere over the rainbow. i’m a Virgo, moon Libra, and ascendant Scorpio.

i’ve been practicing since february 2020. my journey began just around the time covid did, so i was interrupted pretty severely. i’ve been on & off with my practice, as life has spun me 'round time & time again. this time, i’m determined to stay steadfast.

my favorite part of the craft is that i get to be one with the fluidity of life. i’m not bound to rules or restrictions — for the most part, lol. the Moon has always fascinated me, along with Her stars. in my time, i’ve consistently connected more with the Greek pantheon, so i assume that’s how my practice will stay, though anything can happen!

much love,
lena, from somewhere over the rainbow

Welcome, @earths.lily and Merry Meet!

What a lovely introduction! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: We’re so happy you decided to join us. I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. I’ve been practicing for less than a year, though I’ve always been a pagan. I’m just more of a witchy pagan now.

I’m sorry that Covid interrupted your studies - it interrupted a lot of things, didn’t it? But - you’re here now.

This is a fabulous attitude, and will help you find your path. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything around here. Your new Coven is full of kind and informative people who are glad to help. Jump in wherever you feel comfortable.

Blessings! :sparkles: :palms_up_together: :feather:

Welcome, Lena! :crescent_moon::sparkles:

It’s such a joy to have you here with us! Your introduction is absolutely beautiful — poetic, grounded, and full of that “somewhere over the rainbow” charm. :rainbow::sparkling_heart: Your determination to return to your practice and stay steady this time is inspiring, especially after being spun around by life (as so many of us were during those chaotic pandemic years).

I’m Stephanie, an eclectic witch from sunny California :sun::palm_tree:, and I love meeting fellow witches who feel deeply connected to the Moon and the stars. There’s something so magical about embracing the fluidity of the Craft — the freedom to flow, adapt, and evolve without rigid boundaries. Your connection to the Greek pantheon feels so natural and heartfelt, and I’m excited to see how your path continues to unfold.

You’re among friends here, and we’re happy you found your way into this circle. :herb::dizzy:

Much love, and Merry Meet, Lena! :herb: :dizzy: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hi, @earths.lily! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

It’s great to have you here! And I agree, the lack of dogma was one of the big pluses for me in this religion! We’ve got a couple of witches here that worship Hecate, so hopefully they’ll be able to help you out with that topic. I loved the Greek pantheon, and while I have read a few books on it, the best one being Modern Witchcraft and the Greek Gods by Jason Mankey, I don’t know too much about the practices of following those gods. But maybe that book title can help you out!

If you have any questions, ask, and someone will pop up to give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!

Greetings @earths.lily and welcome!

My name is Kat, and I started practicing the craft in 1993. I lost my way for some time but came back magick in 2018. I’m drawn to herbalism, gardening, and various forms of divination - tarot, throwing bones, kipper and ogham.

I have always been drawn to the Greek pantheon and have worked with Artemis, Hecate, Selene, and Persephone. :bow_and_arrow: :pomegranate:

There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!

We’re glad to have you here. :purple_heart: Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!:

Hi @earths.lily . What a lovely introduction! I’m Jayne, an eclectic witch living in Texas, although I’m originally from the UK (bit of a Tex/Brit accent going on here!)

I just had my one year “Witchiversary” celebrating my first year as a witch, and recently adopted the witch name Greenbriar as it aligns closely with my path which leans toward earth and nature magic.

Like you, one of the things that attracted me to the path was the freedom to go with what resonated with me, instead of having to follow a bunch of rules.

Feel free to jump in to any conversation that interests you and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Blessed Be! :witch_hat:

Nicely put. It is a nice feeling that I often enjoy. Welcome to Spells8. The coven is very welcoming and supportive and I’m sure you will enjoy all that it has to offer.

I’m Dan and I study belief systems. My path falls loosely under the Chaos umbrella

Jump in and enjoy!
